On Monday I'll start up the IC threads and story for those with completed characters. Some may start together depending on their professions. As the plot quickly thickens you'll all come together.

Characters in development or done (posted):

Chris107: priest
DadsAngry: archeologist (posted)
Thesniperknight1: BOI agent (posted)
Eulalios: scientist/chemist
SocraticLawyer: antiquarian book dealer
MrHemlocks: hunter/trapper (posted)
MonkeyWrench: Irish street gangster (posted)
ybn1197: pugilist / laborer

What professions are others considering?

I'm thinking of making a book dealer who specializes in old/esoteric books. Former WW1 soldier who saw some strange stuff on the front....

Antiquarian book dealer is perfect for CoC.

Anyone want to be a pulp magazine writer or journalist?

Making a older man that is a hunter and trapper by trade and sells his items on the market. Almost finished with him...

I've started with the story threads for the two completed characters, Gwen Baines the FBI agent (thesniperknight1) and Dr. David Clarke the archeologist (DadsAngry). Everyone is free to read, though try not to use information to meta-game :D . Ideas can be shared, and thoughts about mysteries discussed, in OOC. As other characters are completed, I'll launch their threads. The individual character threads have some sandbox elements to them. The strands will come together.

Feel free to be creative and wide ranging in role-playing. If you don't have a lot of front-end character background created, you can run with on-the-spot background creation (no major revelations, like you were a shaolin monk but left the order, or have a grandfather with a huge occult library) and details that can build on the plot. If I leave something open-ended, or an NPC glossed over, and you want to add detail, go ahead.

Hey just FYI. In 1925 it's the BOI Bureau of Investigation. The agency is renamed in 1935 as FBI Federal Bureau of Investigation.

This is just ducky, lets get a wiggle on.

Using the 1920's slang is a bit weird

I'm going to be a little late to the party, as my home internet is down and won't be back up for ~24 hours. (Posting at work now, hope the boss doesn't see this :o ). But I'll get my character posted soon!

No problem SL. I've put up Marius (MrHemlocks) and Darrin McKoy (MonkeyWrench) threads. Great post Dads for your archeologist.

SocraticLawyer's book dealer is essentially done, so I'll be starting up his story thread tomorrow.

With Darrin getting in a tumble, I thought I'd put up melee rules for those unfamiliar. Initiative by Dex. Aimed guns fire before hand weapons.

I am not reading the other characters post that are in their own threads. Doing so seems like meta gaming a little bit too much and will ruin the element of surprise. ;)
