No it's yours. Just didn't want Rhodri to grab that tooZorroroaster wrote:Orrin has expressed interest in the curved dagger a couple times. If Kennit wants it too, we need to dice for it.

Re: Loot, Loot, and Treasure!
The necklace just feels like a necklace around Rhodri's neck. It seems to have been designed for someone with different proportions, perhaps a shorter body and thicker neck. The scalloped plates of the necklace chain lie somewhat unevenly on his chest as a result.
Re: Loot, Loot, and Treasure!
The twist-bladed knife seems combat-worthy, but will deal only 1d4-1 points of damage (minimum 0) due to its extremely dull edge.

Orrin takes a closer look at the knife. Does it seem to be fashioned out of the same mithril alloy they found earlier?

No, under the encrusted blood (remember, it looks as though it's been well used but never cleaned) the metal looks raw and almost white. It looks like maybe cold-worked iron to Orrin's eyes.
Re: Loot, Loot, and Treasure!
Does anyone half enough cash to buy Lug's half-interest in a ring from him? He'd rather have 250 gp than theoretical ownership of half a ring.
Re: Loot, Loot, and Treasure!
Another thought: Keenhelf, can the dwarven rings be used like currency? If so, Lug might pay 250 gold for a second ring.
Re: Loot, Loot, and Treasure!
Depends on what you're trying to buy, and from whom.
Re: Loot, Loot, and Treasure!
The first thing Lug would try to do is swap a ring and his old armor for a set of plate mail.
Lug would also want to spend another 200 gp to promote himself somehow. That's probably easier to do with cash than a ring.
Or, if Lug has 1000 gp worth of rings, he might see if that could get him an upgrade to Reason.
Basically, Lug sees armor, weapons, and notoriety as much more useful than jewelry. If anyone in the party has sentimental attachments to dwarven rings, now is the time to buy them off of Lug.

Re: Loot, Loot, and Treasure!
Yeah, the smith wouldn't take an expensive ring in exchange for the plate mail. He needs cash to be able to replace the supplies used to make the armor. The more he has out of circulation, the less flexibility he has in his trade.
Re: Loot, Loot, and Treasure!
In that case, Lug will see if he can find a tailor to make him a shirt that says "I almost killed Nine Tongues and all I got was this lousy 'valuable' dwarven ring.'"
Is there anywhere in town Lug could convert rings to cash?

Re: Loot, Loot, and Treasure!
The Assessor might be willing to offer something, since he works as a moneychanger at times and might have reserves.
Re: Loot, Loot, and Treasure!
Sounds good. Lug will talk to the assessor to see what he could get for a ring.

After that deal with Val's sword? Probably, yeah. Rhodri might talk to you later; you seem fairly trustworthy, for a beardo.Zorroroaster wrote:Hmmm...are you thinking what I'm thinking?Keehnelf wrote:It seems to have been designed for someone with different proportions, perhaps a shorter body and thicker neck..

Re: Loot, Loot, and Treasure!
Dividing the coin among the five of us, gives each 2 platinum and 80 gold...if my math is correct. One shifting-leaf cloak (Abi has it)
One gnarled wooden staff (Quirin had it, didn't note it, I forgot to move it to someone else when he was looted--still yours)
Two damaged wolf pelts
10 platinum pieces (reward from the Thane)
400 gold pieces (taken from the smoldering wreck outside the dwarf-hold)
One hobgoblin map
One set of hobgoblin coordinates
One spellbook (from Quirin's body)
Krysta is not really interested in any of the other items.
We get 10% bonus right? If so, that would be 532xp...I think. Any help?2418xp, divided among five survivors for 484xp each before bonuses.
