Also, you said there were multiple ladders on those walls right?
It looks like you can slip through the grate, if you can pry it loose (Brawn check). There was only the one ladder nearby.

Well so much for giving the mutants extra help...

Genocide, having had his fill of watching, will head towards the grate, still cloaked and keeping low. He will attempt to open the grate and slip inside the sewer entrance while everyone is busy with fighting each other...

Laughing Genocide, satisfied with his diversion, proceeds towards the floor grate he noticed earlier and lifts it up in a swift motion, its weight meaning almost nothing to him.

He drops down the hole in his cloaked state and lands on solid ground. Looking around his surroundings it appears to be your standard underground sewage line. The water glows with a sickly green glow, clearly the byproduct of Rook Industries activities at the power plant. Looking ahead, you can see a distant source of light, presumably another grate entrance. More importantly, it is on the other side of the wall. The ground above shakes greatly as the sound of gunfire and mutant howls muffle through the layers of stone and ground.

To your left is a ladder that his broken and leaning against the wall. There is a narrow walkway that leads further down the underground sewage line, towards the power plant. Light bulbs and their connecting cords hang up above, showing that electricity even runs all the way down here. To your right is a similiarly narrow entrance, weaving its way into a darker section of the sewage line.

Genocide will follow the sewage passage down, heading towards the power plant, his maniacal laughter echoing off the stone and brick walls.

When ever Hot Streak and Vorpal are able to and in good health for it they will seek out more members to join them in whatever way they can. Likely watching the news or reading papers for happenings in the area of crime and going to aid the criminals and villains.

The water runs green, and not the natural kind either. Genocide follows this erie glow towards where he believes to be the power plant's direction. He cannot help but laugh maniacally, his echoes showing how far the tunnel stretches. As he progresses down the narrow ledge, winding around corners and broken catwalks, LG finds that the area around him slowly starts to show less signs of an underground sewer line and more of a undergound escape route. The walls around him go from being caked with dirt and brick to solid concrete and flourescent wall lights. The walkway becomes wider and is starting to take on metal plating. As LG decsends, further in, the green runoff shrinks to a small line, various openings in the wall pooring sludge and waste into it.

It is during one of your nights of rest that some of Vorpal's men report strange whirring and clicking sounds coming from a building across the street they are on. It is an abandoned place, set for demolition some months in advance, but even so they claim they saw some movement behind the building's windows. They sent a couple men in to investigate, but they haven't come back yet.

The neighborhood you are in is notorious for disappearances and various nighttime activities, one of the main reason why Cowboy was able to get this place at such a good deal without too many questions being asked. Many of the local citizenry tend to stay away from this area, especially at night. The building you are in, your headquarters, also happens to be right next to the massive junkheap that looms over the area. It has its own set of rumors attached to it, you've yet to ask the locals about it though, there not being too many around.

Superspeed is possible now. Also, since Hot Streak's involvement in the Green Storm ended earlier than the others, you will now be operating in a new mission, mini arc. You get 50 character points for your efforts; remember, they can be used to change lousy dice rolls if need be. Since you are controlling Vorpal as well, we will say he gets 50 points as well, 100 total for you greywolfvt.

This post will eventually segue into another thread for you to post in.

As Hot Streak heads out into investigate the building in question, he finds that the main entrance and windows up front are all boarded up. Vorpal's men must have entered through a different way. A quick inspection of each side of the building shows more windows boarded up in similar fashion. One side is littered with dumpsters and other trashy debris. Another has a whole bunch of crates stacked against each other, a makeshift mountain from the looks of things; it leads up to a window that isn't boarded up, but closed. Behind the building, you can see a catwalk that is in a serious state of ruin. The initial stairs leading up are broken and some of the railings are hanging lose. A door is found near the top of the catwalk and is slightly ajar. Throughout the whole inspection process, you could hear the distinct sound of ticking and whirring coming from all sides of the building, and the occasional sounds of things being moved.

Laughing Genocide can spot in the distance two guards stationed near a huge metal door. They are busy playing cards and don't seem interested in what is going on down the tunnel. You see a glint of red in the distance as well, a security camera. The ventilation shafts and piping that wrap around the walls and ceiling could act as good sources of concealment to get up close. Climbing up the pipes and shafts seems an easy enough task and does not require a roll.

Being acutely aware of your surroundings at the moment, you also pick up on the sounds of a few rats scampering in the distance behind you. The footsteps seem a bit heavier than normal.

----

GreywolfVT, you can continue to post here, it will take some time for me to fully flesh out the next part of your arc. Until then, we will stick to the area you are currently in right now and go from there.

If you really want to use points to superspeed, I won't stop you... but I personally would consider it a waste, considering you could just keep on doing it until you get it right. :P

Also, where are you superspeeding towards? The noises are all around no matter which side you choose to inspect, all emenating from inside the building.

Laughing Genocide, after having scouted out the area ahead with his keen eyesight and hearing, feels thunderous shakes coming from up above. The shakes are sudden and spread apart by mere seconds, as if they were incredibly heavy footsteps. One of the guards playing cards looks up and whistles, the other guard laughs in response. "So they brought the heavies out eh? Boy, I wish I could see them in action right now! Guard duty is such a drag, and of all places, we had to be stationed down here? What, they afraid some rat will sneak in make the office girls shreak?"

They both laugh after that and resume their game of cards, still blissfully unaware of LG's presence.

Hot Streak finds the source of the whirring and clicking as he passes the stack of crates leading up to the closed window. It is the noisiest here. As your character approaches this window, slowly climbing up the mound of stacked crates, you appear through the window and find small metal thinks moving about the floor. The window is dirty and hard to look through, but you can tell their is a good number of the things in their, whatever they are.

Genocide scales the pipes and vents as he makes his way towards the two guards as they play a game of cards. Genocide will drop down near the guards, remaining cloaked. He then stalks up behind one of the seated guards and attempts to tear the mans head from his shoulders in a quick motion.

Brawn(20): [1d100] = 97

Once that is done He will begin cackling, tossing the head towards the remaining guard, Genocide will super speed around the table and towards the guard, planting his hands on the mans shoulders and making sure that he cannot get up or grab a weapon. He will then lower his maniacal face down to the side of the guards face.

I see, oh yes I see.
You friend had a pair, of three!
Let us play a game, yes?
Something to relieve all my stress!
you cannot run, cannot hide, on no...
So let us play a game, and if you win
I'll let you spin!

next post is dependent on what this lucky guard will do... plus I didn't want to put too much.

The lucky guard shrieks in terror upon seeing his companion's head being wrenched off and thrown towards him. He tries to leap from his chair, but finds an invisible force pushing him into his chair. Unable to reach for his rifle, or doing anything really, he breaks into a cold sweat as he realizes the position he is in; the sick, playful voice whispering into his ear affirms this.

As LG recites his twisted words, the guard's hands fumble underneath the table, as if trying to reach for something. He shakes his head yes, as he nervously gasps for air, his eyes still wide in shock, still processing what just happened in front of him.

You find a good 20 or so of these small things rummaging around the house building inside. Some are carrying various objects, others are deconstructing objects, and then their are those who are scavenging the place. They are all over the place, but appear in groups of 2 or 3 at a time.
