Anwyn steps in and asks the first person she sees, "Hello, I'm looking for the Assessor. I was told that he would be the best person to ask about translating this." Anwyn holds out her parchment.

The clerk brings the parchment into a rear office and returns a few moments later with it in hand. "I apologize," he says, "but the Assessor regrets to inform you that he is unable to understand the script. He recommends that you consult with a wizard or a sage, if one can be found."

Anwyn thanks the clerk, takes her parchment, and leaves.
