Re: OOC CHAT
Heading to the mall - what do we need?
For our post zombie apocalypse shopping trip, I think we prob need to look for:
1. GUNS!
2. BIGGER guns
3. Ammo
4. Flashlights, batteries (maybe some wind up flashlights)
5. Emergency radio (wind up one or solar power)
6. Camping gear? Tents, sleeping bags, durable clothing (for heat and cold) GOOD backpacks
7. Cooking gear, pans, utinsils, water storage jugs
8. Matches, fire starting gear
9. Axes, hatchets, machetes, bats (useful and double as weapons)
10. Preserved foods, dried or canned foods
anything else? I'm sure I'm missing something

Headlamps to keep our hands free.
Fire starting equipment
Warm clothes
Solar chargers
GPS devices (the satellites should still work)
Maps/compasses in case the Air Force bunker that corrects the satellites go down.

Re: OOC CHAT
Looks like a good list so far.
Re: OOC CHAT
I eould add protective gear - at least pads for forearms but preferably body armour of some sort but of course not sure what of this kind of stuff you would get at a mall.

Re: OOC CHAT
Maybe a sporting goods store- hockey or football shoulder pads and helmets. Maybe a motorcycle shop for helmets (I know three members of the group may not want to wear those) and protective jackets...
Sometimes this summer I will most likely be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

Im behind with computer problems, work & school. On track soon.
Get your plan ready. Who is driving with who, etc. There are two trucks and a car. Lester's truck, one from a customer and Chance's car.

Steve's happy to drive the truck for obvious reasons...

Re: OOC CHAT
Chingy looks to Lester for the game plan. His plans haven't gotten anyone killed yet.
Re: OOC CHAT
Tucker will ride with Chance. Things have gone smooth that way and there is no point in rocking the boat now.
Re: OOC CHAT
I think the three vehicles plan is good, and all the stuff everyone said we need to gather is also good. Perhaps one extra thing - we should try to scrounge up some gas cans and siphon/take/pump any that we can carry, just in case.
I say we load up, and head out at the crack of dawn. We'll try to get back to the garage if we can, if not, we'll try to find a safe spot to crash out.

If we need a third driver, Chingy will volunteer. Otherwise he stays with Lester.

Re: OOC CHAT
It truly pains me to say this but I need to inform all of my DM's that I am leaving the board.
After 2 separate instances that I've experienced in the last week, both of which I found to be totally ridiculous, I've lost my desire, creativity, and ability to enjoy any of the great games on here that I once loved.
I reluctantly take full responsibility for what occurred in both cases, regardless of how misinterpreted and misconstrued things got. I definitely do not want this to reflect negatively on this forum or any of its moderators. This board is awesome and was one of the few enjoyable things I got to do in my life in a very long time.
I apologize for abandoning the many great DM's and all the fantastic players that I've had the pleasure of gaming with, and making friends with, over the last year. You were all so welcoming and helpful even though I was completely ignorant of the PbP system (amongst other things) and I really appreciated that. You have no idea how much I've learned and how much I've enjoyed the ride. Thank you all!

Re: OOC CHAT
Ok, I have to write down the seating/driving arrangement & then we can continue. I need to organize & write down who is driving with who, etc. I want to get it right. Hopefully tonight. Sorry for the delay.
