Jyrbian packs away his new rug and heads out the door. He stops in the middle of the road, looking around for the rest of his party. They seem to have disappeared on him, or perhaps it was the other way around. He looks around, taking inventory of his position and all the likely spots where something of great interest may lie hidden, waiting for his presence to reveal itself, when he notices a quaint little cottage tucked away in a stand of trees behind the building he just left.

He moves between the trees intent on discovering the dwelling's inner secrets. The closer he comes the more uneasy he becomes. The trees and grass gradually become neatly pruned and well tended. Their lush appearance creates a stark contrast to the rest of the small village. The building itself is in good shape, the front door, a solid slab of oak with a fresh garland of holly leaves. The path leading up to the door is lined with small blue pebbles. The front door rebukes Seeker's entry. No physical lock can be found.

["Seeker" Jyrbian Talanador of the Bleeding Eye - Lvl 0] {HP:4/10} {AC:9}
Action: Your secrets are mine!

Jyrbian inspects the door, pushing on it and pulling on any handles that he can see. If none of those work he will boldly call out to the house, "Do you not know who comes before you?! Open your entrances this instance! I am Seeker Talanador, I say it so it must be done!"

If that fails he will look for a window he can either open from the outside or bash in.

Seeker inspects the door thoroughly and finds it must open inward. He announces his place, firmly, "Do you not know who comes before you?! Open your entrances this instance! I am Seeker Talanador, I say it so it must be done!"

A hearty chuckle from within meets his sooth. Seeker, not one to admit defeat, walks the perimeter searching for another point of ingress, but finds not so much as a crack.

["Seeker" Jyrbian Talanador of the Bleeding Eye - Lvl 0] {HP:4/10} {AC:9}
Action: Voices within!

Jyrbian walks back to the front entrance, now knowing that at least something that can chuckle is within, "So you live to be trapped?! Open your entrance and gain the knowledge of myself! Must you hide yourself away as the rest of these cretins do? Must you cower from the secrets of the world?! I speak and my words carry weight, such weight that the world makes way for them! Now open your doors and show yourself!"

["Seeker" Jyrbian Talanador of the Bleeding Eye - Lvl 0] {HP:4/10} {AC:9}
Action: Hogwash

Jyrbian looks at Gorthak Incredulously, "Do you not see my actions stated for the world's witness?! There is no snooping being done here! There is demanding being done here! I am not some pick pocket, here to thieve you of your gold! I am Seeker Talanador, My words carry weight and my mind unravels the universe!" He then scoffs, "I shall like to see this hidden foe come to kill me! At least then he will have to open his doors and reveal himself!" After a moment however Jyrbian sighs and waves his hand in the air, motioning dismissively to get this thing over with, "However, I shall meet with this man that boldly proclaims himself knighthood. Perhaps he will be more forthcoming with information than this cowardly recluse." He says the last part loud enough for the man in the house to hear him before following Gorthak.

Aramis Woodsoul's Introduction,

Aramis finds himself wondering far from his homeland. He skirts the civilized areas for years wondering from one woodlot to the next. His wanderings eventually take him to the coast where he begins traveling south. This path takes him south then southwest then west along the coast. The forest gives way to a rolling plain and the beach fades away leaving a cliff that climbs higher and higher. His travels are lonely but not without reward.

(You enter the map just to the right of Dragons Belch where the coastline makes its turn to the west. The cliff face at this point is nearly 50' high.)

Aramis stands at the edge of the rolling prairie looking out to see. As he turns toward the west a massive wall, some 10 miles to the west, juts out of the prairie at the seacliff. As he stands squinting to get a better look a Giant Green Butterfly (12" long) swishes just overhead and heads out to sea. A moment later a massive Bluebird (roughly 3' long) darts after it. Aramis finds this highly peculiar as there are no Butterflies or Birds he has ever seen that grow this big.

He is deffinitely out of his element here on the prairie and coastline. But something has pulled or rather drawn him to this location. Where he goes from here is merely the future.

ARAMIS

Aramis decides to head in the direction of the city of Dragon's Belch. He has heard very little about the lands of the so called civilized folk and wishs to experience its splendors for himself. He makes sure to ready his short bow and notch an arrow least he be molested by some kind of monster as he traverses the plans between the forest and Dragon's Belch.

ARAMIS

Aramis travels for what seems like hours across the open plains and the openness of it begins to unnerve him. He almost cannot shack it. The plains seem to be too open to the world and the sky above. He feels very uneasy as he travels across it. He becomes increasingly more and more paranoid as he travels onward. He thinks to himself, (How do humans do it? live in the open areas of the world exposed to enemies from all sides?)

Aramis sees no other wildlife of interest during his 3.5 hour trek to the city walls. As he approaches the wall looms some 30' in the air. Aramis skirts around toward the north and finds the entrance open.

The massive steel banded doublewide wooden gates of Dragons Belch stand ajar. To either side of the doorway are 2' tall bronze dragon oil lamps, presently not lit.

Setting in the open doorway, where the two doors would normally be, are two 2' long bronze dragon statuettes.

The dragons look up at Aramis as he approches but they do not move. Just inside the gates is a small wooden table with two wooden chairs and two lanky men playning some game made of small tiles with black dots on them. The tiles appear to carved from solid bone. The two men look up at once and state, in a monotone unison voice, "Welcome to Dragons Belch state your business." The two Bronze Dragons then move to take flanking positions on either side of Aramis. Their faces take on a quizical demeanor as they stair up at aramis.
