I updated the monsters encountered/treasure list. We haven't doled out XP or figured out some of the treausre value since you returned to the uppper-level caves after Dai's untimely demise, so if you ever make it back to civilization, I predict some level bumps.

Don't we have to move before we can have a level bump?

Yes indeed  I'll be offline for the next day or so, but I'd like to resume this game towards the end of this week. Hope everyone had a good Christmas!

That kjc...rumor has it he has been out wandering the streets. Shaving hirstute orphans, and reading to the homeless. :? Sort of an odd duck, such a shame...he had such potential.
Man I'm bummed! I was so excited when I joined a Villains & Vigilantes game on these boards, and now it seems the game is D.O.A. I've been in the mood for some supers lately.

I haven't played V&V in ages. When Champions came out, V&V went to the wayside for my group.

We also switched to CHAMPIONS (which started my love affair with the HERO SYSTEM), which lead me to JUSTICE INC. (which started my love affair with pulps). Mike showed up to my first pulp game (which lead me to -REDACTED- requiring petroleum jelly). Mike will introduce us to NCFOK, which uses the WORLD SYSTEM, which powers the upcoming supers game called WORLDS IN PERIL hehehe... :D

@Miraje: Bishop started in V&V, Glacier started in GOLDEN HEROES. Wasn't Glacier originally called Iceberg?

I mainly recall Foxbat from Champions. I've never liked the Champions system -- way too crunchy for my tastes -- but it was the better system for supers at the time. My last glance at the HERO SYSTEM made me vurp and put it away.

Yeah Glacier was originally Iceberg, though I think he was only created in GH, never actually played. And yeah JI was a way better system for running pulp characters with a Cthulhu story line, because they actually survived more than one gaming session without dying or being driven (more) insane. The fact that Blandergast was insane to begin with may have helped
