Thanks,

No problem. I'm going to post both maps for Round Ten.

I think we orientate ourselves to mob the warg unit to try and wipe it out. If we can be backing up towards the walls to get some additional missile fire, so much the better.

That was impressive. The dice don't hate him (yet).

Are we going to fight this battle, or just admire the maps?

Does Thurgan want to fall back or hold firm against the charge?

I'd say take down the wolves - it'll make things better later.

Sorry guys, I crashed early last night. I'm assuming that those units capable of ranged fire are going to open up on the wargs once they come within range?

That is correct t, at least as far as the northern units go.

Clarification: the wargs did not advance further?

Yeah, that was confusing. The map I posted for Round Ten showed the positions of all the troops at the end of the *Movement* phase, but before melee or missile fire. I rolled out missile fire for *Round Ten* since melee wasn't possible.

Round Eleven will start again normally, with troops being able to declare movement, melee and missile fire.

Is there an updated map that I'm not seeing? I haven't posted a turn because I don't have a clear sense of updated positions.

Thank you for the map.

Per my troop commands in Round #10, my units should be in a different position than shown on the updated map. This would allow for another unit of ranged fire on the 71.55 wargs in Round #11.

Sorry about that. I was using the map the Wyzard posted at the beginning of Round Ten, and missed your edit to the positions.

No worries. It's a lot to keep track of.

I edited my IC post to reflect orders for this round: viewtopic.php?p=135197#p135197

And, crap. I misread the IC post, and now I've made you move my troops back-and-forth on the map for absolutely no reason. Damn. My apologies.

That sounds like the sort of thing I sometimes end up doing!

Depending on how the north-side fight with the warg goes, if you can do it without losing units, maybe Division A should *advance*, head south, and help us wipe out the Western goblin tribe. A relatively small degree of reinforcment would help us a lot, but more importantly it would force them off of a purely offensive footing. The orcs coming across the bridge can't catch up to you on foot, and the city's defenders can just close the north gate anyway.

Anyway, something to think about.
