The kobold has his candles lit and is waving his little arms around in the air chanting and muttering bizarre phrases.

We gave the crow to the kobold, right? If so, I think the main event is about to start. Which means we ought to stick around until he's done chanting and muttering.

No one's given him a crow yet.

That's a very good question that no one's asked him yet.

Agrom will ask the kobold what the hell he's doing.

Raizenbrayne, Who Is Unforeseen
Sorry for skipping out on yesterday's talk, guys. Looks like some pretty hefty developments! I'm all for getting things back on the same page.

Raizenbrayne moves out of the way to let the diminutive kobold priest gather up his materials for his ritual, licking his fingers clean of his rations as he does so. Keeping his eyes on Chorko and watching him go about his curious business, 'Brayne moves back over to Agrom. 'Either the Red-Faced One and the Pilgrim aren't the same entity, or perhaps Captain Squarebeard there is simply an impostor, using these old religious trappings of the Pilgrim as a precedent. You know, now I'm curious about this amulet. I wonder why the kobold wants it back so much.'

Then, a thought coming to him, Raizenbrayne turns back to Chorko, willing to interrupt his ritual further. 'Chorko, this power circle: did you create it, or did the Red-Faced One create it? How can we appease him?'

Does Raizenbrayne recognise any of the ritual being conducted by Chorko?

Raizenbrayne has no background in religion so no, he doesn't recognize any of the activities the kobold is doing.

I'm on my phone so I won't do the voice (an autocorrection nightmare!) but the ok old responds, in essence, that he has no idea what the circle does but that he made it after the red faced one showed him how to do so in a dream.

Oh and that the ritual he's trying to perform should appease the red faced one's anger. Afterward, you can perform the sacrifice which will open the way to the temple.

Interesting, most interesting. So what's the consensus, crow loot or stick around for the rest of the ritual?

As a player, I'm torn. But I'm pretty sure Harlan has little patience for spooky arcana. Its all ensorclement to him, and I think he's ready to strike out for the amulet and maybe some treasure for himself.

The best adventurers have magic, and Agrom wants some. So he'll follow Harlan back to the crows' loot.

That's two of three, so I'll assume Raizenbrayne is along for the ride unless he chimes in along the way with another course of action. Do you plan to scale the same wall, or take Harlan's recommendation from earlier and try and find another route?

I'd be willing to sneak around. If we can avoid another tussle with the crows, all the better.

Ok, what route would you like to take?

North to the stair chamber.
West through a solid wooden door.
Or east over the collapsed wall rubble?

Raizenbrayne will indeed tag along, seconding Harlan's suggestion to attempt going around the side way.

I don't have a preference but I'll choose West just to get the ball rolling.
