SYNTHALUS

Dex: 14 (made dexterity)
Acrobatic-Evasion: 24% out of 23% chance!
Crap! I missed it by 1%! its like the matrix scene except he gets hit by one of the bullets at the last second!
Save Vs. Spell: 14 (Made Save Vs. Spell) Syn takes 20 hp Dam.

Synthalus attempts to evade the Necromancers LB by somersaulting diagonally to the right of it but gets clipped by it at the last second; he screams. He loses his concentration as the lightning courses through him and also his balance sending him tumbling and twitching headlong into the side of the coffin. As soon as he gets his bearings he will retrieve Lucky from the ground and attempt to hide in shadows/move silently/Backstab.

AAAAAHHHHH!!!!!! roll, roll, thud! Dahhh! You will die this day Necro scum! I shall see your head decapitated and your mouth packed full with holy wafers, Then cast it into a free flowing river tied down with rocks before day is done !

SYNTHALUS- Current HP=35

Morton tries to avoid the lightning as he digs out another magic missile scroll, fail.

Save [1d20] = 6

Morton drops.

OCC: Morton only had 6hp so he cleared the -10 rule by quite a bit (even if he had max HP).

Does Cat need to even save? He was attempting to hide in shadows before the Necromancer showed up?

SYNTHALUS

Synthalus after getting his bearings and sees his fallen new friends throws all caution to the wind. He decides to make a stand! He rushes the wizard with his short bow drawn and fires two point blank arrows at his center of mass.

Short Bow to hit [1d20+2] = 16+2 = 18, To Dam [1d6+2] = 6+2 = 8 / x2 if PB = 16
Short Bow to hit [1d20+2] = 14+2 = 16, To Dam [1d6+2] = 4+2 = 6 / x2 if PB = 12

He's wounded severely.

Btw, dead in my games is at -10 and since there aren't any bleeding wounds, no one is bleeding out. :)

Horris is wounded enough to not be conscious to attack.

The wizard is wounded enough so he's exhausted his offensive capability and has nowhere to run. The vampire was waiting to summon more bats but he sees his patron isn't going to survive. So you have an 8+ HD vamp in xp and an 11th level mu.

Treasure: In the vamp's coffin - I rolled no treasure!... but 6,000gp, 600pp, 3 gems (250gp ea.), 3 jewelry (600gp ea.), a clerical scroll (remove fear, cure light wounds, find traps, slow poison), a pro fm acid scroll and a +1 long sword.

The wizard had 3k gp, 550pp 6 gems (450 ea.), 6 jewelery (900 ea.) and a Horn of Valhalla, a Helm of Underwater Action, Cape of the Mountebank and a Bag of Tricks.

Hope you enjoyed playing, sorry to cut it it short but such is a busy life.

SYNTHALUS

Synthalus will finish the Necromancer off with a few stabs from Lucky and then use his last potion of healing to try and revive some of his fallen friends.

+1 Dagger of Venom: [1d20+2] = 12+2 = 14, Damage: S/M[1d4+3] = 2+3 = 5
+1 Dagger of Venom: [1d20+2] = 4+2 = 6, Damage: S/M[1d4+3] = 4+3 = 7

Horris: 6+3=9Hp restored
Harold: 5Hp restored
Morton: Deceased
Cat: Healthy
Raspar: ?

Potion exhausted. Cat has one more swig of potion left in his bottle.

Synthalus after healing his friends as best he can will gather the loot and place it into the coffin if no one objects, until which time the party can split it up. There is still a trapped passageway that needs to be explored. Synthalus addresses the remaining party members.

We are all I pretty bad shape after that but at least this foul Necromancer will no longer plague the town of Eggstrath. Perhaps they will even reward us for the undertaking? We should stash the loot here until we are healthy enough to retrieve it. There is still yet an unexplored passageway that is trapped shall we continue or retreat back to town to lick our wounds before venturing forward? there is much sense in going back now. We must at least go back soon in order to try and find a priest for brother Morton.

Raspar is here. Is this module over. I believe we end this and the Vamp if he is not dead. They are known to get there revenge when provoked.

Lets sleep outside the cavern for the night and heal up. I don't believe this battle is over. We cannot leave a Vampire to prey on the innocent.

I never got a clear understanding if I took damage from the Lightning Bolt or not. I was firing my L. Bow at the vamp.
