Don't worry, Poltux-in-Shen, that body fails me as well.

Mouth half-agape with astonishment, Raquinel will direct the giants to attack the Creature of Chaos.

Bjorn Tries to replicate his last attack unsure if the ring can be used more than once a day. Ianin Ring of Shocking Grasp THAC1 20: to hit, [1d20] = 14 damage [1d8+6] = 4+6 = 10

Re: Chpt. 5 - Race for the Runestaff
Disgusted with his lack of success with the javelin, Poltux-in-Shen switches back to the magical Returner axe and swipes at the monster.
Re: Chpt. 5 - Race for the Runestaff
Andover vengefully bashes a mirror.
Re: Chpt. 5 - Race for the Runestaff
The Sparkly! Honnilee via Idwillen barks to the Illusionist, as she is insistently swings the tree that is the Druid's spear, The gem! Touch the gem! But don't take it off! It's mine!
Re: Chpt. 5 - Race for the Runestaff
Flint/Honnilee's eyes snap to the blade, finding the suggested gem, and places his/her thumb across the stone, and pressing slightly points the tip of the razor-like weapon at our antagonist.

Re: Chpt. 5 - Race for the Runestaff
Mirror Mirror - Round Six
The three three-headed giants emerge from the red mists and attack the bug-ridden Chaos monster. They deliver two crushing blows upon the creature (8, 6 HP damage.)
Shen-in-Bjorn finds he likes this mace. He swings again and crunches the monster's left thigh (3 HP.) Bjorn-in-Ianin swerves low among the giants and manages to just graze the monster's foot. But it is enough to discharge another magical shock from Ianin's ring!
The creature of Chaos seems moderately wounded. Poltux-in-Shen struggles to find an opening amidst all the attackers on the monster. He swipes but lacks leverage.
Flint-in-Honnilee activates the hobbit's magic sword light and a beam of light shoots out. He aims it at the monster's eyes. The creature is flailing about under attack and bugs swarm, so it is hard to tell if the creature is blinded.
As the others smash mirrors, the snakes lunge at the adventurers faces! Ianin-in-Raquinel and Raquinel-in-Flint are pierced! (1 HP damage each, and Save vs. Poison.)
All the mirrors are smashed. Glass shards litter the floor. The room is suddenly quieter, with only the sounds of battle and buzzing heard.
Actions for Round Seven!

Ianin Save VS. Poison: [1d20] = 17
Ianin-in-Raquinel will hold for the moment, not feeling the need to engage in combat with so many things swarming the creature already.

Re: Chpt. 5 - Race for the Runestaff
Raquinel-in-Ianin gags a few seconds after the snakebite, but manages to fight off the bulk of the poison effects.
She continues to concentrate on willing the giants to attack Chaos-man.

Re: Chpt. 5 - Race for the Runestaff
Idwillen will fire his sling at the creature.
Re: Chpt. 5 - Race for the Runestaff
"Arrgghh!" rages Poltux-in-Shen and swings the axe again.
Re: Chpt. 5 - Race for the Runestaff
With no mirrors left to smash, Honnilee via Idwillen stands rather foolishly looking at other party members, and the giant body she herself inhabits. It didn't work! I'm still an Ogre!
Re: Chpt. 5 - Race for the Runestaff
Flint via Honnilee watches helplessly. The light from the Halfling's sword seems to be ineffective against the demon, and no way does he want to get stepped on by giants.

Re: Chpt. 5 - Race for the Runestaff
Mirror Mirror - Round Seven
Several adventurers look crestfallen as the realize they're still trapped in the wrong bodies despite all the mirrors being broken.
The creature of Chaos rails and howls in frustration at the bugs swarming it, the giants battering it, and the heroes attacking it. The six glowing blue snakes snap and whip about, striking Bjorn-in-Ianin and Honnilee-in-Idwellin (2 and 1 HP damage respectively, and Save vs. Poison.)
Idwellin-in-Andover loads and fires another stone from his magic sling. It's aim is true and the monster is hit in the left shoulder! Bjorn-in-Ianin smiles at the result of his last electrifying ring touch on the monster. He swings low and strikes the creature's left leg, shocking the beast again!
Shen-in-Bjorn is getting the hang of this mace. He arcs it upwards smashing the monster's hip bone (3 HP.) The angle of hit causes the '+' and '-' symbols to touch the creature, emitting another magic shock on the beast! (6 HP damage.)
Poltux-in-Shen continues to have a rough time of it. The half-orc-minded ranger body misses badly with his axe. It almost slips out of his hands.
Raquinel-in-Flint holds her jeweled glove up, willing the giants to press their attack on the monster. The three hermaphrodite behemoths seem to need no directing, as they savagely pummel away (18 HP damage total.)
Flint-in-Honnilee continues to aim the magic sword light at the monster's face, hoping to blind it. Ianin-in-Raquinel stands at the back, watching the battle, not wanting to risk this frail female body. Honnilee-in-Idwellin stands near her.
The insect swarm is breaking up and dissipating. This exposes the sight of the monster more; it is heavily wounded.

Re: Chpt. 5 - Race for the Runestaff
This thing is a freaking powerhouse, we've done a ton of damage and he is still standing. Hopefully it gets sucked into the gem with the giants out now.
Ianin-in-Raquinel continues to stand back, having no spells that would not hinder the group as well and seeing that the creature will not win this fight. He rests his now female body against his staff as he keeps it in place.
