Glimble "It's a terrible story I think it is wise to wash it away. My dwarven cousins I too will help slay any living orcs for what they have done here to the dwarves."

After washing away the images, and Thorax's parayer, which way will you go first?
Re: 4- The Irlingstar Ancestral Helm Quest
If nothing is heard and there is no other indication I will vote left.

Re: 4- The Irlingstar Ancestral Helm Quest
Heading left (west) you enter another large room, which is also empty. There is an old staircase heading down that is completely full of rubble! It would take forever, and some good equipment, to dig it out.
Leading off this room is a shot hallway with three small, empty rooms branching off at intervals. You check them quickly, but other than an old trap (spikes from the ceiling) that sprung long ago, there is nothing of interest down this way.
Heading back to the entry room, which you had cleaned, there are still two ways to go (north, and south). You don't hear anything from either direction.

Re: 4- The Irlingstar Ancestral Helm Quest
Using his keen dwarves senses Thorax attempts to determine the cause of the rubble. After that he will vote north.

Re: 4- The Irlingstar Ancestral Helm Quest
Glimble using his gnomish senses of the underground detects all sorts of things.
South Detect Depth[1d6] = 1 Unsafe ceilings, walls and floors[1d10] = 10 Grade[1d6] = 5
North Detect Depth[1d6] = 3 Unsafe ceilings, walls and floors[1d10] = 1 Grade[1d6] = 5
Then pending his senses will vote for the safer path.

Re: 4- The Irlingstar Ancestral Helm Quest
While Glimble is investigating near the north and south passages, a shifting floor panel nearly dumps him down into a pit of rusty spikes near the southern door. He leaps backward, just in time, but now that way has no easy footing, reinforcing the "go north" attitude of the party.
Heading north the passage quickly turns to the right, becoming a long hallway heading east.
There are 4 passages leading away from the long hallway that you can see, heading north and south. The first of these, is quite narrow, perhaps 4 feet wide, narrowed after a sliding wall trap malfunctioned and stopped halfway through the hallway. Dagmar notes that there are many recent footprints in the dust and rubble heading to and fro.
As Thorax neared this passage he might have heard something, a shuffling noise from down this narrow way, but he isn't sure.

Glimble looks for a small stone and throws it down the narrow passage.

As Tella whispers to the group, Glimble whips a stone down the narrow passage. The shuffling noises return, but are obviously moving away from you. Suddenly a loud noise like a metal platter dropping on the stone rings out from beyond the narrow corridor. More shuffling noises follow....

Aye, it sounds like something in front of us triggered one... she will whisper. Worse things could happen I suppose.

OOC - do you guys want to follow the shuffling noise?
Re: 4- The Irlingstar Ancestral Helm Quest
Cautiously, and with someone checking for traps would be Thorax's unusually careful response.

Glimble will await the trap expert of the group to check and fall in line about the middle of the group as usual.
