Need to hear from Zorroroaster and SocraticLawyer. Once I know I will continue. If I have not heard from them in 24 hours we will continue without them.

Sorry for the delay. Obviously I haven't been keeping up with the forum lately. While I love playing Peaches and Claude, I don't want to slow down the game any further. Please feel free to sacrifice them to the rats and loot their carcasses afterwards  :D
How do we know you're not a donkey-brained man?

Apologies. I've stopped checking in for a bit, when we went on break and life also took off over here.

As with Peaches, feel free to NPC Bronn until he dies horribly or you make it out alive.

It's been fun playing with you all.

Grigg is good to continue exploring the Barrowmaze. If people want to drop out, any chance of new recruits or people taking over their characters.?

Sorry for my absence!
I quit receiving emails from the forum for some reason, so I had assumed there were no new posts.
I'm catching up and will jump in shortly.

How's everyone feeling about these 9 guys?
Should we try some negotiations, or start with the hackity-stab?

Throw a flask of oil on 'em. That should make them think twice about hanging around. :)

If some people want to drop out then I say let Peaches and Claude use their magic on them. Especially now that they are threatening to rob us not the tomb. And big Bronn can wade in with his axe. Otherwise you might lose a few characters and have a party left with just NPC's....

That's a fair call. We'll start the round off with them attacking.

Sounds like it's a fight then?

DM, how wide is the hall here? How many will be needed to form a front-line / how many people will the front-line be exposed to?

Good point. The hallway turns south 20' west of the portcullis, so that's going to limit the number of ruffians who can used ranged attacks at any time. Assuming they have ranged weapons. Can we tell how many have ranged weapons?

The hallway is 10' wide so 2 can fit in the hall abreast. From where the group is standing, the hall moves west 20' then turns south. Right now, everyone is bunched up since there has been no need to bring weapons to bear. Once combat starts, Your group will be able to place 4 in the area around the portcullis (Bronn, Peaches, Claude and 1 other based on what I have read so far.) Someone (either Grigg or Milo) stepped into the crypt on the opposite side. The leaves the others to fall behind the first group of 4. On their side, there is 2 squares before the hall goes south so 8 of them will be in the western portion of the hall and 1 will be in the southern portion. You have not seen any missile weapons on them but that does not mean they do not have small weapons such as daggers or slings.

Won't be posting till Monday. Been up since 3:00 AM EST. Pool pump cracked and poured @ 5,000 gallons of water into lower level of my split level. Waiting for insurance and ServPro to contact re: cleanup and damages. Going back to bed till they call.

With a huge SORRY to everyone I will have to say goodbye. Real life became very complex for me last week; in fact this has been the first chance I have had to log in. I do not know how long I will be away from gaming but I want to thank everyone for the time I have spent here rolling dice. Good luck to all and I hope to see you all when I get things cleared up and can get back to gaming.

YBN,
Thanks for running a game. Just the other day I realized it had been over 2 years since this campaign started!

May all your dice roll crits.
