Otikas peers through the doorway, obviously not wanting to enter the room until it has been thoroughly checked for traps. "Most curious. A rather large room to have no discernable use." He tries to scan the walls for any sign of anything that might give a clue to the room's use.

"Perhaps some sort of antechamber for letting vivitors wait before an audiance? By then why no sign chairs?" he muses, "I guess they could have been carried away through the years...but the fact the room has no debris is quite curious. And disturbing."

You do not find any traps.

On the bright side, nor did you set off any traps

Alysuil HP:21/21

Alysuil will creep up near the thief and use her infravision to peer into the room. She will use her spear to tap on the floor gently to detect for pit traps before proceeding.

There is no traps in the room, it appears to be utterly empty and boring.

Logan, fighter

"Let us move on then," says Logan with sword drawn. Sticking close to the walls, lest there be pits in the middle of the room, Logan moves to the west corridor.

Otikas will fall in with the others as they head down the passage, keeping to the middle of the pack.

The party heads west for 50-60 feet and find a room not unlike the one they previously exited. There is a passage to the east (currently where you are at) a passage to the south east, an a archway to the south.

It seem that this room is empty, as if it was being cleaned out or such.

Jinx "Well this is quite annoying bitter emptiness perhaps that is why the door had nothing on it." Jinx looks quite annoyed that this door has lead to nothing worth looting.

Map looks great - though east west passage is actually 10 feet north of where you put it, that was due to my poor description, not anything you did.

Alysuil scratches her head. "Maybe we should check the walls in these empty rooms. There could be secret doors? If nothing, push on?"

Jinx "Well hold on now there is still one passage we have not checked, if I am not mistaken."

"I guess it is not unexpected that the upper levels of these halls would be bare. They are the most easily accessable and we are surely not the first to attempt to explore their mysteries."Otikas wanders around the room, examining the bare walls and floor. "I would conjecture that as we move deeper into the passages it is more likely for us to find something of value, I am sure. Probably more dangers and a higher probability of death also, but that is to be expected in a venture such as this, is it not?"

Logan, mercenary

"Aye, Otikas," says Logan. He spits. Then he looks through the archway.

Wolf chimes in, "Based on the layout so far it seems to me that the SE passage here has a good chance of meeting up with the SW passage from the previous room. Why don't we check that out first."

"Um...yes...quite right. If I've triangulated our position correctly and have measured the angles of the corridors to the appropriate accurracy, by my calculations the two corridors should indeed intersect. This is quite exciting wouldn't you say? Shall we find another room? Just an intersection? We should proceed there at once I say!"

Smiling alysuil snuggles up to Otikas, "my, my, calculations and triangulations, it's enough to make a girl swoon. I knew there were reasons I hung around you guys. Other than all the sexy beards, that is. Let's forge ahead, but we should check our six, and look for secret doors as we go. We don't want to get too far into the unknown with the possibility of someone or thing sneaking up on us."

"Um...er...yes...calculations,"says the wizard, blushing at the sudden attention from Alysiul. "Just some basic mathematics. Something anyone with a bit of education and an average intelligence could learn. Even you could learn...er...not that you have an average intelligence...um....quite the opposite..er...smarter, yes, smarter than average I would say. Indeed!"he finishes, trailing off to an uncomfortable silence.
