I think I've encountered that with one of the games I am in on here. Certain images wouldn't show up on the phone.

Lately I've been going through the neato hordes to ensure the BBEG is using everything to it's fullest! No reason for the wand of paralyzation to be sitting there unused!
Also, if they win the day, the party has an idea of what the magic item might do

My favorite is skeletons in an evil shrine type area, so they get bonuses versus turns. So the cleric thinks they've got it and I say "it doesn't seem to work." The panic that sets in warms a DM's icy heart!
