So did my wife, who teaches in a middle school. My university starts again on the 30th. My brain starts up again the week after that.

we're going back to work on the 6th.

But as I'm teaching freshmen this year, I don't go back to work until at least the 20th. :D :D

I am glad to be back now. I was getting a bit bored. And I'm happy to see my students again.

I an only teaching in the English department so, except for first year students, I see mostly the same faces every term. I rather like it.

ok, but do you actually teach the same students or the next batch that rises to the grade you're teaching?

As for me, I flip flop every year. Same topic, but it seems one year is freshmen, the next is sophomores, then back to freshmen, etc.

This year is freshmen...thus why the late start for me.

I teach 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year courses so I often have the same students several semesters in a row. Sometimes I get a student in three different courses in the same term.

Uh, I forget: what are we supposed to be doing here and why?

(Or is it a simple crawl because someone sent us here or whaever, which btw, I'm totally ok with)

He's watched too much Monty Python. Never mind him. :) It's been a long time, but I think Kenelm approached the party and suggested coming to the island and checking it out. There is no mission.

I'm so glad that you got the reference. :)
Dreganor - The Monty Python sketch in question concerns an incompetent and completely unprepared man hiring people for a planned expedition to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro. It is revealed as the sketch progresses that the previous year his equally incompetent brother did the same, and failed to return.

Hey Masuro,

I used the die roller on the other site. There is no log there, though.

Would you rather something else? Maybe invisible castle, where there is a die log?

just in case, here is one from a site w/die log:

1d20 → [18] = (18)

Castle Forum
[roll=BaltirIronfist (save vs. spell)]#2699678[/roll]
BBCode
1d20=18

For the future, is a roller without a log or even rolling with dice ok?

We are all adults so I will trust you. Rolling a shiny die at home is fine if you like that.
