Tella - Elf Mage
Tella will have marked the passage where the hall of mirrors hits the "T" junction on the west side before they head south, she will put an arrow headed back out to the great hall. Heading south she will arch an eyebrow at the curtain: Indeed, that is quite a menacing thing to see. I wonder if that's a teleport gate?
Standing at the passage marked "B" on the map: I agree, let's give this in a try and if it leads to nothing we can try the next one to the south.

Re: 2-Down the well, into UnderMountain (first trip)
With Glimble and Thorax in front you head down the nearest corridor, heading east. After turning north for a few feet it continues on roughly 30-40 ft until it stops at two doors. One door is on the eastern dead-end wall, and 90 degrees from that door, on the southern wall is another door.
When you get nearer, you notice that the door to the south is not completely sealed, and you can hear noises on the other side. You are still 5-10 feet away from the southern door, but you hear grunting and sharp gutural stammering, above it all is a strange thrumming or humming noise.

Brother Thorax will motion that he hears something and pantomime opening the door and shooting his crossbow. He will then wait for everyone to draw weapons.

Glimble nods in agreement with Brother Thorax then grabs his Arquebus and pats it and points back to the doors with a impish smile.

Re: 2-Down the well, into UnderMountain (first trip)
Through the door... GUNS BLAZING!
Thorax pushes through the door, with Glimble following quickly, arquebus loaded. As they pull up their missile weapons, they lay eyes on a chaotic scene. There are a total of 5 orcs in the room, screaming in orcish and moving about. One of the orcs has a horrible, thing, attached to its face. It's like a huge mosquito, with leathery bat-like wings, and a large probiscus which is rammed through the orc's eye!!! That humming noise is the flapping of its horrible wings.
One of the orcs, swings down an axe, cleaving the bug in two pieces, and also killing the orc victim. The orcs cheer out a war cry, and slowly realize that a dwarf and gnome just charged into the room...
*** You have surprise, Glimble and Thorax have a free missile attack [unless you choose to use your surprise to talk or run], and can move into the room on round 1, allowing more of your part (2 more players) to enter the room. Roll initiative for round 1 (round 0 missile attacks are free) and then let me know your actions. The next 2 players to post get to charge into the room with Glimble and Thoraw (if they choose) and can go melee or missile attacks on the orcs if they choose. ****

Re: 2-Down the well, into UnderMountain (first trip)
Thorax shoots and hits AC 6 (5 if I get +1 for surprise) and does 5 damage to the closest Orc (provided it hits). With his 10 (since clearly the roller was joking when it said 0) initiative he will attempt to step aside so that others may enter and intends on cleaving an orc with his battleaxe.

Tella - Elf Mage
Tella will come up behind Glimble and Thorax, upon seeing Thorax hit one of the orcs with a bolt she will cast Snilloc's Snowball and throw it at the same orc.
OCC: Spell deducted.
@GM: Do I roll damage or is that you?

Glimble Anxious will shoot at the next nearest orc. He yells this as he fires.
"This is my Boom Stick!" [1d20] = 16[1d10] = 8

Thorax swings his Battleaxe at the {presumably} on coming orc [1d20] = 13 and hits (AC3) for Battleaxe damage [1d8+5] = 1+5 = 6.

Re: 2-Down the well, into UnderMountain (first trip)
Round 0
Glimble and Thorax charge into the room, then suddenly an extremely loud explosion echoes forth, as Glimble discharges his arquebus! You've never heard it fired in such a confined space. Smoke billows into the room as two orcs drop dead from an arqubus shot and a crossbow.
One of the two orcs witnesses the fury of this unknown attack and runs to the south, as fast as it can. The orc with an axe that killed the bug, charges at Glimble and Thorax with his axe held high!
I can roll initiative for round 1, it will be Glimble, Thorax, Tella, and possibly 1 more party member versus the lone orc. Tella, you can change your focus for the snilloc's snowball to one of the remaining orcs. I'll give everybody until tonight or tomorrow morning to post, before pushing into Round 1.

"Well that was much louder than I anticipated." Glimble states as he switches weapons and grabs out his flail. "This will be fun he he." he giggles with glee.

Re: 2-Down the well, into UnderMountain (first trip)
The slow quiet one as always, Muriel intercepts the orc running to the south.
[1d20+1] = 11+1 = 12 with THACO 19, [1d8] = 4 so hitting AC 7 I guess.

Tella - Elf Mage
Wrinkling her nose at the smell of the smoke from Glimble's strange device she will throw the snowball at the least engaged orc she can spot.
OCC: Thanks for letting her change focus!

Re: 2-Down the well, into UnderMountain (first trip)
Round 1:
The orc with the axe moves quicker than both Glimble and Thorax, charging forward menacingly. However, he slips on bug goo and trips and falls. Thorax decapitates said orc with a single swing of his dwarven battle axe, thus ending the brief melee. Glimble would have been ready to aid the brave dwarf with his flail, but it takes a long time to get out, and get spinning and all that.
Meanwhile, two elves slipped into the room. Tella fires a magical snowball at the fleeing orc and it splashes against his back with a resounding "THUD!" and bits of magical ice splatter the walls. The orc shuffles around the corner turning and running down a hallway. However, Muriel takes this advantage, catching up with the orc quickly as he rounds the last bend and drives a sword into his back. The orc dies with gurgle and a croak, and the loud battle field goes silent.
The legs of the strange bug are still moving/twitching. All your opponents have been defeated in just a few moments of chaos.

Glimble will hit the twitching bug with his flail for good measure. "Gotta make sure them bugs are good and dead you know."

Re: 2-Down the well, into UnderMountain (first trip)
Brother Thorax will kneel to retrieve his bolt. With the blood of the decapitated orc he will draw Clangeddin's symbol on the bodies of the orcs and recite "Silverbeard, Lord of Battle and King of War. Thank you for blessing us with this minor skirmish to prepare us for the battles to come. Rain down upon us enemies uncounted so that we may revel in the glory of armed conflict. We shall slay them in your name, cut off their heads and draw out their entrails. The blood of your enemies will flow like a waterfall.". With that Thorax reloads his crossbow and begins looking through the orcs possessions for "donations".
