The weapons on the rack are quite dusty and corroded from non use or care.
There are 2 long swords, the shaft(only) from a polearm, and a single short sword.
It's evident from their condition that the large humanoids prefered the weapons they used over these.
I just assumed that Varrick would pocket the ceramic jar as well, but if that is not the case, well Malfiac wouldn't know about it, and didn't show enough interest to grab it himself, so yeah.

*Reads Blazeguard's post*.... There we go! :D

Varrick looks back at Thorgrim, meeting his eyes, "onlay one way ta find out yeh?" He continues to head out of the area, wanting to leave the area as soon as possible as well as gain some distance from thorgrim and whatever could be in that jar.

While of crude build, the jar is thick and sturdy. The lid is lightly sealed with wax in only a couple places but not enough to contain a gas, or even a liquid if tipped. Nothing seems to roll around inside as Thirgrim handles it.

***Rafo, Caves Across the Bridge***

"Dirty bastards!"Rafo, curses under his breath while rubbing his wounds. "Maybe what you need is a proper burial."After dragging the hag and her children toward the chasm he stops to catch his breath. Giving each body a stiff kick he watches as they roll off the cliff and into the welcoming blackness of the chasm and to whatever waits below."Baruk Khazâd! Khazâd ai-mênu!"

. Rafo finds a blade on one of the children before tossing it over and secures it to his belt. The corpses fall a ways before landing with a splash.

***Rafo, Caves Near Bridge***

After tossing the bodies into the water, Rafo thought he heard something out of place.

Go ahead and make a spot roll for Rafo. Dice roller refuses to work with me.

Rafo, Varrick, and Thor think they heard a clink of metal along with the splashes when the bodies were tossed in the chasm below. None of the bodies were wearing armor...

***Rafo, Near Bridege In Cave***

"Did you hear that mates!"He points down into the darkness. "We got company...down there"

Stepping back away from the chasm, Rafo looks for other tunnels leading from the alter room.
Go ahead and roll for me, Spot(25%), for Dice Roller will not work even after changing my password!!!

just FYI, Listen Skill Checks are at 25%+1/2 of your POW. Always add 1/2 relevant Charactistic score to skill checks. Every little helps ;)

Thorgrim cautiously crawls back onto the bridge and peers over the edge to see if he can see anything down in the chasm.

Even using the torches, the darkness descends quite a ways. Thorgrim guesses the drop to be about 100' before light can be seen reflecting from water below. All is silent again save for torches and the cool blue flames in the large altar bowl.

***Rafo, Temple Are Near Bridge***

Still looking for another passage out of this room, Rafo lights up a smoke and drinks a few large gulps of wine from his canteen.
The Dice Roller is still not working for me and some other people. The mod is aware of the problem. So, while Rafo drinks and smokes, after looking for another tunnel, he tries to appraise the sword. Need you to roll for me again :D

Thorgrim returns to the group. "Hmmm, well if someone is down there, I wonder how they're going to get back up." He will begin examining the room looking for any unusual rock formations or any signs of traffic that seem to lead directly into a wall, as well as any drafts anywhere that might indicate a secret passage.
Thorgrim (8)
Spot Check (6%): [1d100] = 46 (I'm guessing that would be a spot check)

The cavern floor is elevated above the chasm, which circles it completely save for the ramp to the bridge. The slick walls, several feet away from the ledge are covered in strange images, painted in a red phosphorus material but have no rhyme or reason like a written language might.
The altar itself, once searched, reveals no hidden nooks or compartments along its base where the giant snake statues seem to protrude and encircle it. The altar and snakes are seamless having been carved from the same stone.

***Rafo, Temple, In Cave***

Rafo, gathers up a few BIG stones and tosses them into the large container, ontop the alter area, that contains the strange light.
