So just because I can link the rolls Stats: STR:14, CHR:10, INT:14, DEX:15, CON:15, WIS:15

Doesn't mean they're saved to the database, correct?

THIS SCREEN IS THE ONE I WAS TRYING TO GET TO:

Ummm... no, if you can link to the rolls, then they are saved in the database. That is the only way you can view them, in fact.

When did you make the dice rolls (about what time and date)? And what was the character name? I'll see if I can find them.

If you are using the Dice Roller Chargen Dice Roller, though, just because you see the dice results, doesn't mean they're saved. With that function, you have to click "Aye" to save the dice rolls to the database.

Ya, I've had several rolls but all of them under the characters Glok & Jin. I always clicked the 'Aye' button (it seemed logical to do so), but since then I've 'deleted' them and re-rolled Jin, so sorry if that puts the kabosh on your database search.

I believe deleting characters deletes the rolls from the database. Or at least makes them not display in search results.

Fair enough.

I'm wondering how we know what 'Saving Throw' values to use - since we are unclassed? I thought to do like Alethan and leave it blank for now?

Good question. Use those for a 0-level normal human.

Saving Throws: (please include any racial bonuses)
17 Breath Attacks
14 Poison or Death Ray
16 Petrify or Paralyze
15 Wands
18 Spell or Spell-like Devices

Your characters look great! Any more questions before we start? I'll post the first turn tomorrow evening.

All right, everyone, here goes. Those of you who have played in my previous adventures may have noticed that I begin with a Raiders of the Lost Ark-type scene introducing a main antagonist, followed by a Star Wars-like introductory crawl.

Not this time...

Jog my memory?

In the character sheets, the AC is given as "reg/rear/no shield"

- I cannot recall if the "reg" meant with or without armour, and/or Dex bonus?
- I cannot recall if "rear" meant NO Dex bonus? *Obviously your shield wouldn't count from a 'behind' attack.
- I cannot recall if "no shield" means without your shield? (just kidding).

REedited for wrongness!!

Cheers

I don't really claim that way, that's why I was asking. I've adjusted my character sheet to reflect the 'right' way.

He's talking about your spelling of "armor" vs. "armour". Sam is from the UK.

HAHAHAHA!! That's brilliant! I didn't even think of that! (I should have known, I'm in love with UK and the BBC programs!)

I thought he was referring to a 'house' rule or something, so I thought, "Hmm... I didn't invent that so I best not claim ownership!"

Woke up this morning (quite abruptly!) with my wife screaming about being stuck in the snow - middle of the road no less. I had to dig her out in my Pajamas = not good mood. /// Reading this post = good mood. Made my day. ;)

LOVE IT!

Nice one Sumo!

Sounds good Ethan - get her convinced and come over!
You and the little man are welcome round to mine for a one-shot with me and my boy. He is just getting into D&D via the Dagger rules so I am sure he will stick with it for a while.

Gentlemen, I have some bad news. I've just learned that my family's financial situation is in worse shape than I thought. Fixing this problem is going to take a lot of time, thought and energy, and will require me to model the behavior, focus and discipline I need to see in others.

Unfortunately, I need to suspend my involvement in all RPGs until further notice. I'm sorry to do this, guys, especially since we just got started. But I have to take care of my family.
