Once again, I will wait for NJWilliam to provide his own set of rolls for this combat round, if he does not do so, I will roll for him. If this keeps up, his character will be in for a nasty surprise once you guys enter the mountain....

Here is how things went down in round 3 of the bandit camp fight. Flynn is able to charge one of Gustov's opponents and land a solid hit. Taking advantage of the confusion, Gustov then pummels him into submission with his first dagger strike, keeping him alive. He attempts to do so with another bandit and succeeds at first... however, Mial was unware of Gustov's plan and struck the bandit down. The soldiers make quick work of the last bandit on the right, leaving only two left on the left side of camp. Laywin goes toe to toe with one such bandit, but cannot seem land a solid strike, neither the bandit. Lump also seems to be fairing for the worse as his club only seems to hit the air. Kitra and the other soldier land their hits though, weakening the bandit facing Lump.

Deceidon, now positioned as best he can behind 8-Finga Joe, tries to land a subdual backstab hit with his sword, but fails as Joe's surprisingly fast movements leave Deciedon hitting air as well. Captain Hal grunts towards Deceidon, noticing what he is trying to do and yells in the middle of one of his attacks. "GET BACK YOU FOOL! DO YOU WANT TO GET CUT DOWN?!" With his anger now mustered, he brings it swiftly down on Joe in the form of a solid hit. Still not enough to phase Joe, the bandit leader at least reacts to it, stepping backwards with a grunt of his own as he regains his footing. Taking advantage of Captain Hal's distracted state, Joe makes a couple of swipes at his oppenent, deep enough to leave cuts, but again, not enough to phase the captain.

The battle between the two men becomes even more intense, 8-Finga Joe now fighting with more desperation, seeing his men fall before him, Captain Hal almost reaching his main goal, eliminating 8-Finga Joe once and for all.

I've yet to update the map, but here is rough of where everyone is at. Lump and a soldier has one of the bandits cornered to the left, Lawin is duking it out with another to the left of camp and a the last bandit on the right of camp has been subdued by Flynn and Gustov, currently alive but unconscious. Deceidon is currently behind Joe. Kitra remains at the entrance of the camp, guarding Whitsell, Amberlynn and the other wounded soldier/guardsmen, and the rest of the adventuring forces joins Flynn and Gustov, surrounding the bandit and wondering why he is still alive.

"We need him alive!" yells Deceidon to Hal. "Joe! Your bandits are routed, more soldiers are on the way, your wall is burning! Give up and live!"

Deceidon swings his sword hilt down again on Joe's head, hoping to knock him out.

Whitsell will position himself to block a bandit from fleeing through the gates, but will only engage if that fleeing were to occur.

Gustov

Gustov looks at the unconscious bandit, and wipes the blood of other bandits from his weapons.
Sheathing one of his blades he calls out, "Who has some rope for this fella?"

Deceidon acts first during this round of combat as he hits Joe with the back of his sword. This does enough damage to get the bandit leader's attention, causing his swing to miss against Hal. Hal takes advantage of the opening and performs a critical slash against Joe's chest. The combined efforts of Deceidon and the Captain starts to make Joe breath a little heavily now. He still stands though and fiery spirit does not seem to wane. "Even in death I will be able to serve a greater purpose, you cannot stop what is to come! If I cannot shape the new world, then the Dark advisor will!" 8-Finga Joe then proceeds to spit in Hal's general direction, showing that he will not back down and surrender.

It would appear as if the other bandits have followed their leader's example and continue to fight on. One of them lands a hit on Laywin, but the other misses. Kitra fires her arrow and it sticks her opponent, and in a rare show of skill, Lump manages a hit with his club as well!
NJWilliam wrote:"Who has some rope for this fella?"
, chimes in a victorious Half-Elf. Lump shouts over his shoulder that there is some in his pack near Amberlynn.

Flynn decides to guard Amberlynn as she performs her ministrations, standing side by side with Whitsell in his watch. The swashbuckler hears the shouts for rope from where he stands.

Only two regular bandits remain, one level 0 and one level 2. Then you have 8-Finga Joe, the leader who is still duking it out with Hal. Actions and rolls please, don't forget your group initiative. I've been rolling it for you guys when you forget, but I shouldn't have to all the time. ;)

Flynn fishes some rope from his pack and throws it to one of the guards.
"Get this over to them."

Deceidon attempts to club Joe again, intent on knocking him out for questioning. He is alarmed about Joe's ranting of a new world, and wonders if the Dark Advisor mentioned is the rogue mage. Deceidon's preoccupation throws his aim off.

If NJWIlliam does not tell me what he is going to be doing with the bandit, some of the other adventures would have half the mind to finish the job, in their own way...

Flynn spots the troubles with Joe and becomes anxious.
"Finish him, Deceidon!" he urges. Then tells Amber to stay close to her loyal guard and rushes to his aid.

Will provide an update later today, most likely in the late afternoon after work.

I'm just going to assume that Gustov wants to interrogate the bandit later and then probably have him escorted as a prisoner to town or something; but by all means NJWilliam, if this is not what you had in mind, do feel free to speak up on your character's behalf ;)

"You fools! Stay back, didn't I say to stay back?!" Captain Hal looks away from his oppenent for a moment as he shouts at Flynn who is found charging towards them. His sword swing arcs high and misses. With Deceidon trying to attack once again from behind, he fails and this only agitates the captain even further, disrupting his next attack and making him lose his footing. Hal falls backwards and tries to get back up, but 8-Finga Joe wouldn't let his oppurtunity slide by.

Aftering having dodged all of the Hal's attacks including Deceidon's recent one, the bandit leader raises his sword and brings it down on the captain. A distinct yell of pain erupts as the sword cuts deep into the staggering Captain. But the wicked bandit does not stop there.... with a sadistically evil grin, he brings his longsword down again on the captain, cutting deeply into one of his shoulders. The scream of pain that resulted afterwards, has everyone looking towards their direction now, even the battling bandit underlings stop for a moment, never having heard such a sound before come from one of Joe's opponents.

Gustov and Whitsell remain at their positions, the half-elf binding the captured bandit, and Whitsell helping guard Amberlynn; both of their attention's, however, seems to fixate on the battle with Captain Hal and 8-Finga Joe as well.

Both bandits on the left side of camp still remain, even after all of the attacks thrown at them. One of them, however, is heavily wounded and could drop at any moment. The Lump seems to be showing more and more profiency in his club use than ever before, a marvel to behold for those who are paying attention to him.

And since Whitsell is the honorable sort... he will stay and guard the exit along with Amberlyn and any other wounded.

Gustov

Gustov looks at the bound bandit and shrugs, "He's got to be worth more alive than dead, no?" he says to anyone in earshot.

Gustov's question is met with a mix of confusion and irritation. Most of those gathered around him and the bandit, traveled with the group for the sole purpose of killling all of the bandits. To take one as a prisoner.... A guard draws his sword in response. "The Captain will not be takin' any more prisoners, we only have enough food for our people and the guard now. Interrogate the scum all you want, but I'm sure the Captian will see to his death afterwards soon enough!" The rest of the hired adventurers and guard do not speak up on the matter, for they secretly share the same opinion.

With all bandits now taken care of, there leaves only the prisoner and 8-Finga Joe. After having inflicted some heavy damage on Hal, Joe's assault is interrupted by Flynn's flashy swordsmanship. Joe's longsword swings down with deadly force, but with the elegance and skill of a specialist in the blade, Flynn parries the blow with ease. He is tempted to shout out a witty taunt and insult to the bandit leader after his flourish of steel, but holds his tongue, for he knows that Captain Hal didn't want any help in the first place. A fool's stubborness, or a warrior's pride, Flynn cannot tell.

Deceidon tries to take advantage of Joe's deflected strike, but misses in his own! Captain Hal is now back up on this feet, and is noticeably furious now. "NEVER has a bandit sent me to a ground like that! You will pay 8-Finga Joe, you will pay!!"

Sorry for the late reply.
