Folks, I'm really not feeling the shaman class, which I think has been my stumbling block on the totem animal.
Going to switch Tartok to a Mystic, won't affect his HP rolls, still 5d6.
Hope that doesn't cause any issues.

With two henchmen:

Antipaladin

I'm looking to bring in 2 more PCs. We're actually pretty good on magic, but low on healing and outdoor expertise.

I think this is the beginning of an ad&d character at the moment. Pyro is new to acks. There are a bunch of things to work on with this one, yet...

I remember there were some reservations concerning my Character and her underlings.
Does this problem still exists? Is it something we should talk about? Can i remove some of your doubts about havin chaotic characters with mercenaries?

Alright... So, we've had another player drop out. I'll put it to you guys. Do we continue, wait to see if more people want to join, change the focus (possibly to adventures around the city state), or pack it in?

So, that would be three players left?

Anyway, I think it's enough, especially since we start with experienced characters, and that slighty complicates things up. My choice would be to start this week-end/next week as it was planned. I don't mind if you change the focus, but expedition to the Elphand Lands still sounds great to me. As for new players, maybe a waiting list would be useful. I fear if we wait too much, there always will be someone wanting to leave.

Ultimately that's your call, drpete.

I'm fine with continuing... About Ludwig. What dark power would you like him to serve? Orcus is a classic devil to worship. Sound like what you are looking for? Another term for anti paladin is hell knight.

Some modifications on my cleric henchman were made:

Since he serves Athena, I bought him a spear instead of a warhammer. He'll also pick the 1-handed/shield fighting style proficiency, so that he can use the weapons his cult favors.

Shaker,

For the cleric, instead of blunt weapons, let's day he can use spears,polearms, swords and daggers. He can use a shield, or wield his weapons two handed without buying a special proficiency. Getting the proficiency will add one to your AC if you fight with that style (use a shield and don't use another style)

Shaker, I think we could move quicker if we dont use a cart but for example heavy draft horses to carry our stuff. We also would be less dependant on roads and flat terrain.

Welcome aboard, Granger44!

Here are your stat blocks. We're making characters at adventurer tier, as in the core rules. Let me know if you have any questions. Most classes are allowed. At the moment, we have:

Warlock, Fighter, Mystic, (thief, in progress)

And henchmen:
Cleric of Athena, Witchguard (a toned down antipaladin)

and
A bunch of cataphract cavalry

Are you okay with changing the two swords to a spear and composite bow respectively (i.e. spear +1 and composite bow +1, +3 vs summoned creatures)?

Also, any details about what the treasure map is would be awesome.
