Branc Temugen

Branc watches Kodara leap down from his shoulder, to his knee, and to the bowl of milk.
"Thank you Gruenab, he likes the milk, even if he thinks that meat makes him more fierce.

"At least four, by horse and wagon." Turning to face the door again, Fezuul can hear the horses coming to a halt just outside.

[1d100] = 23 [1d20] = 11 [1d10] = 5 [1d8] = 2 [1d6] = 3 [1d4] = 1
The sounds of horse and tack subside. Fezuul keeps an eye out the door and on the wagon as its passengers begin to disembark, when another disturbance, similar in sound and this time coming from a northeast direction, approaches. Gruenab extends himself to full height and heads to the door. The doctor, to keep from being trampled by the barkeep steps back and lets the giant fill the now open doorway.
The party can soon determine that another constable wagon will soon be arriving.

Fezuul gives a funny look while stating, "are you all really accustomed to seeing large groups of people rushing towards you? Maybe if they were moving slowly, or at a normal speed for that matter, I wouldn't have even bothered saying anything about it. *sigh* Well then, just consider me the overly cautious type..."

The giant steps from the tavern and welcomes the first team. A human boy, approx twelve years old, comes from the stables. Gruenab signals to calm the boy down and the youngster stands near the front door. A female voice, also from outside, can be overheard asking, "What is it? What do they want?"
The constable leading the second team takes command of the conversation and he can be heard asking about events involving last night.
[1d100] = 74 [1d20] = 18 [1d10] = 8 [1d8] = 3 [1d6] = 5 [1d4] = 2
Branc and Benson can recognize the voice as that of First Captain Major Harris Thornstone. The same guardsmen whom Branc did not find to be the most charismatic leader present the night of the Djinn's release.
The giant points with his thumb, back to the doorway and Captain Thornstone soon approaches the Whistling Fish's large entrance trailed by Gruenab and one of the watchmen.

I'm of the watch... normally I'd be part of that large group of people. I do not assume it is comming for me.

[1d100] = 22 [1d20] = 18 [1d10] = 3 [1d8] = 2 [1d6] = 2 [1d4] = 1
Captain Major Thornstone comes into the room looking for a guilty face.
Agrim, having not gotten alot of sleep and knowing that something rotten brews in Greyhawk, provides the watchcaptain with enough probable cause to have a seat.
[1d100] = 6 [1d20] = 19 [1d10] = 9 [1d8] = 3 [1d6] = 2 [1d4] = 4
Benson, relaxed and not expecting any trouble, draws the ire from his superior who is not happy with Benson's casual presentation. (not jumping to attention and etc..)
[1d100] = 73 [1d20] = 12 [1d10] = 1 [1d8] = 7 [1d6] = 3 [1d4] = 1
[1d100] = 80 [1d20] = 7 [1d10] = 1 [1d8] = 7 [1d6] = 6 [1d4] = 1
During his 'interviews', he asks some of the same questions that were asked when the party each came to town. Names, Places of Origin, reasons for being in Greyhawk. He also requests a complete recounting of yesterdays events from the staff. The questions come sternly, but politely and he informs the group that he is merely gathering information and is not ready to make any arrests. Benson is the only one with a perfect alibi, having been constantly seen in the Arena and the tavern. Greystarr is still a member of the guard and Benson feels he won't be expecting any recommendations from the Captain in the near future. The other characters all had at least some alone time and are questioned a bit longer, but none are held.
Any comments for the questioning? Descriptions of alibi?
Eventually, having satisfied himself that the group is not responsible, he informs them that Talaseka was attacked last night and that she has requested them to her at the Sacred Temple of St. Cuthbert.
"Will you agree to meet with her?"
Any additional comments for Captain Major Harrison Thornstone?

Seeing as the person in front of him is captain of the guard, Fezuul drops his defensive guard politely answers all of his questions.

"Fezuul Lokvin, son of the famous Doctor Lokvin of Greyhawk. I've lived here most of my life, though admittedly have not explored the city like I should of in my youth. You see, I am also a practioner of the healing arts and I am sworn under the hippocratic oath. My studies have kept me in my families clinic for some time, up until the opening of my own. The Healthy Hands clinic was opened just recently in hopes of garnering the attention of adventuring groups in need of my services.

Upon encountering this fine group of adventurers I made it my personal goal to try and join them, thus I have been in their company most of yesterday in this said tavern. I was to accompany Telesaka with a few others of this group for a tour of the city this morning."
After hearing the captain's statement regarding Telesaka, Fezuul answers him again with a look of genuine concern on his face. "I would very much like to see if she is alright. As a doctor, my concern reaches out also on the proffessional level, not just the social."

During Thornstone's questions for the Doctor, the Captain listens attentively until he hears that our physician has thrown in with this lot of adventurers. At that point he listens less attuned. Casting a judgmental gaze occasionally until eventually he determines that Fezuul is trying to be as helpful as possible and with limited opportunities presenting themselves, the guard wishes him well in this most recent venture, but warns that "this is not the first time that these three names have come across my desk".

After several hours, Thornstone does not have enough evidence to further question innocence. He prepares to leave but warns, "no one is above suspicion,..."
and with the most telling glance of the morning, the captain stands and looks at Agrim and Branc with his beady eyes and adds, "especially strangers."
With the rest of the group seated about, Thornstone towers gangly at 6'3" Black hair, black trousers and black cloak. Black boots to the knee cannot hide a noticable limp.
His decorated chainmail and longsword signify his service to Greyhawk
His men outside snap to attention as he exits the tavern.

After waiting for the captain and the guard to leave, Fezuul tells the group that he is very concerned about Telesaka and will be taking a trip to St. Cuthbert for a visit. He nods to the owner of the Whistling Fish, a polite acknowledgment of his presence, and takes his leave, all assuming no one stops him to say something or anything like that.

Note that Fezuul Lokvin will be bringing all of his equipment with him.

*Providing the salute of the Watch to the captain before he leaves - and then once he is gone* ... Ummm... guys, I not 100% sure what that was about? I require clarity... *

Benson does thinks it odd that a First Captain would personally be sent to investigate a single mugging assault.
Still looking for some clarity, Greystarr withdraws his mocking salute just in time, as Captain Thornstone stops, turns and says, "On second thought, I will escort you all to Talaseka. Agreed?"
He motions half of the guards from the second wagon to join the other team, making room for you all on the second, slightly more decorated wagon.
He extends his arm and hand in a welcoming aboard gesture to the party members from the Fish.

The doctor, already on his way out, accepts the invitation of a guard escort.

Branc, Wild Mage

Branc, who conditioned from his nomadic upbringing and adventuring lifestyle has all of his gear on him, shrugs and accepts the guard escort, calmly making his way to the proffered wagon.

Aboard the constable's wagon, the group can all get a visual glimpse at some of the many sights here in Greyhawk. Heading northeast, up to the road that is commonly called THE PROCESSIONAL , the party passes through the Low Market area in the center of the Great City.
Plenty of stares, all different, are thrown your way as you are all seen being escorted by the authorities, although the townsfolk know not why. Continuing north to the entrance to the Garden Gate, the Great Arena can be seen off to the east. Going thru the Garden Gate, the wagons take a left hand turn and head west, with the magnificent Temple to St. Cuthbert just ahead.
