The chanting stops.

Rondar has disappeared from sight.

Seconds pass and from around the corner comes a man clad in a filthy python headed robe. Brandishing a snake headed mace, he looks straight at Misha with a evilly sour face and madness in his eyes.

Intentions and initiative.

Nuonne, smiling and ready for this, casts Light on his eyes!

"Darkness be blinded by the Light!"

OOC: Yeah I said blinded by the light... what of it? ;)
This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.
Alethan: I'm good with NOT pressing our luck this time.
mjulius: That's how I know I'm home.
Pulpatoon: The whole point of PbP is to take the scheduling pressure off the game. We're just chatty because we're so eager!
Scott308: ...everyone should be reminded of just how wonderful the people they play games with here can be in real life.
Leitz: Quality and quantity wise, I think US is the best I've seen.
Paladin: I can promise terror, glory, and riches...or a quick and brutal death.
Inferno: Come on! That's was Vicar's Head, a completely different doomed village!
Rex: I can move to the wait list to let someone else into the game.

Abramo charges forward, his mouth open in a silent scream!
Misha and Nuonne begin chanting, focused intently on Abramo. As he closes the distance the sound of clerical chanting vanishes in the globe of silence that surrounds Abramo (Disrupting the spells of Misha and Nuonne).

OOC: I assume Nuonne is withn 15' of Misha
The casting time of light is 4 segments and hold person 5 segments. It takes Abramo 2 segments to reach Misha. Sorry to the clerics.

Misha barely has presence of mind to defend herself against Abramo's mace, putting up her shield to fend him off after the spoiling of her spell.

Abramo is struck from behind by Rondar but he barely seems to notice in his fury.

To summarize:

Clerical spells were spoiled by silence spell.
Abramo charged and missed Misha.
Rondar hit and did 10 damage.

Next round, intentions and initiative.
We will have Ankhar join in with his bastard sword this round.

Hells! Nuonne thinks voicelessly!

Then it's the mace:

The general chaos of melee ensues.

The cobra hooded cleric is quite skilled with weapons and is able to survive the minute against 4 opponents!
Only Nuonne's mace striking without sound against Abramo's armor.

OOC I rolled for Ankhar and Abramo and both missed.

Next round! Fight! Fight! Fight!

The sound of her heart beating in her chest slams like thunder within the evil veil of the mad cleric's silence spell.

Misha puts all her grief and remorse into her attack, trying to force Abramo to continue to face and attack her and not the others!

OOC: Happy Holidays gang! :) On me bloody phone again & can't do any rolls. Can someone add this round's initiative & Misha's combat roll (no bonus; 3rd level cleric, footman's mace 1d6 dam) to Nuonne's rolls. Go Good Cleric Power! :P

Abramo furiously swings hims mace back and forth keeping everyone at bay.

With so many taunting him his guard is opened to an attack from Ankhar, who jabs with bastard sword into the back side of the cleric. Ankhars strike seems to have hurt Abramo more than a little. With silent determination and pure insanity Abramo continues to fight.

Ankhar hit Abramo for 11 points of damage and Abramo missed.

Next Round!

Priestess Misha again presses her mace attack against the mad Abramo, hoping and praying to the Goddess of Scale that her and her newly-found companions can stop him once and for all!

Did we need new init? [1d6] = 3

Nuonne, angered at his inability to vanquish this evil priest of the dark, attacks again with his mace:

[1d20] = 18 [1d6+1] = 5+1 = 6

Abramo completely throws caution to the wind to land an attack against Misha and batters her relentlessly (He does 2 points of damage to Misha), leaving him open to solid attacks from others. He is struck from every direction and Nuonne's blow to his head is believed fatal when the cleric is knocked to the ground unmoving.

You check him and his eyes stare ahead unblinking. Abramo is dead.

After his defeat you are able to move ahead and explore his quarters.

Room #17 on the map:
This room is decorated in a bizarre fashion. There is a dirty straw pallet on the floor, yet two soft and expensive armchairs rest at a low table. A beautiful robe hangs on the wall above a battered, locked chest, while the floor is strewn with muddy rags. An exquisitely crafted wooden
desk has been placed near the northeast corner of the room. At various points around the walls, small iron hooks for hanging tapestries have been set into the stone.

Misha knows that the daughter of the village Storekeeper is here somewhere.

Nuonne snaps the wood handle of the mace (if it has one) by kicking it away from Abramo and pressing with his foot on it, then he tears the snake hood away with an arrow, ripping it.

"Let's find the girl," he says, "any ideas where to start Priestess?"
