Big, big thanks to ToniXX for all the hard work he puts into making this place work for everyone. Huge kudos. Managing websites of this scale are no small feat, even with a team of awesome mods.

Speaking of, I'd like to give a big shout out to myself. Some of the best conversations I have are with me, both inside my head and out (for those few unfortunates around me who witness the latter, I apologize).

Thanks, Alethan.

In all seriousness, Greg is right. The forum would be a bit boring without all of the GMs and players. Thank you all for the hard work and effort you put forth in your games and in bringing your thoughts and ideas to light.

Good Easter to you all. In celebration of this religious holiday, I'd like to thank all of you who dared to roleplay as kids and didn't grow up to be ax murderers or commit suicide over a game that us Christians considered demonic and devil worship back in the 80s. Kudos for not giving in to the power of evil!

Don't be so quick to assume we did not give in to evil. I know I personally went on an 11 state killing spree ending in my suicide. Fortunately, since I had sacrificed so many, Orcus returned me to the world of the living in order to do more of his work. I currently bide my time, waiting for his summons.
Sometimes this summer I will most likely be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

Tone it down guys, if you would please. I know this is all said out of humor, but there are those who might be sensitive to certain things, despite their backgrounds in rpg games. ;)
Even a child that receives one bit of praise has the ability to excel in a single talent, and those who receive regular encouragement can feel confidence, achieve success, and become leading members of society. I understand ToniXX is holding a raffle, collecting donations so that someone can win cool stuff. This is a great way to show support for the site, but I am not particularly interested in the prizes right now, SOOOO, I will do this much at least. My thanks has been long over due and I thought it would be good to show how much I appreciate this site and those who put many hours of their time into it, especially the moderator and admins.

So thanks again everyone for such a great site! Keep up the good work and I hope these funds help keep it going! The Unseen Servant has helped bring many people together to do what they love to do, play RPG games! May it continue to do so for many years to come ;)

I actually said that out loud. I'm glad I'm wicked early for my meeting; not trusting PA 95 traffic I gave myself plenty of time, so I got to see this!

But thank you very much. It's going to go a long way to keep US up and running. Thank you very much!

--Ron--

PS: where "East Coast" are you. I'm assuming not close to Philly. :)
This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.
Alethan: I'm good with NOT pressing our luck this time.
mjulius: That's how I know I'm home.
Pulpatoon: The whole point of PbP is to take the scheduling pressure off the game. We're just chatty because we're so eager!
Scott308: ...everyone should be reminded of just how wonderful the people they play games with here can be in real life.
Leitz: Quality and quantity wise, I think US is the best I've seen.
Paladin: I can promise terror, glory, and riches...or a quick and brutal death.
Inferno: Come on! That's was Vicar's Head, a completely different doomed village!
Rex: I can move to the wait list to let someone else into the game.

Wow. That's incredibly generous of you, Ruke.

May your gesture get paid back 100 fold.

Cheers,

Insane! Great work! I wish I could afford the same generosity myself! This place is absolutely the best site on the internet IMO--at the very least, I spend more time here than anywhere else ;)

Truly, this is the first site I go to whenever I get on the internet.

And I feel like I get paid pretty well for what I do but it seems that with bills and other needed purchases the money just seems to evaporate...

Yeah, unfortunately I'm under-paid for the work I do in addition to being a single-income family with a kid. Leaves very little disposable income and most of it goes to the kiddo...
