Lost
Re: Lost
"We are in mountains when we did not expect to be... but we do not know if they are the Felsha or the Rayesha. If we are near Khuzdul Kingdom of Kiraz, there may be yet another doom upon this movement. I dare not try to discern more without rest first." offers Lharzin solemnly. "I am not cold - a light allows us to be seen better than it will allow you to see. But if something comes upon us, you may wish it. The moon should be full but it is now dark and gives us no aid."
Re: Lost
Murgar
He will lay there recovering and listen to the conversation. Once he feels he's able he will get up and set up a candle and some incense and cast the bones.

Re: Lost
About an hour after arriving Murgar casts the bones. He studies them intently, but finds no useful information.Ahlmzhad wrote: ↑Wed Apr 24, 2024 3:25 pm Murgar

Note that even if he used Arngeir's magic bones he would have still failed.
Re: Lost
Lharzin succumbs to her fatigue, napping the whole first shift. (40 mins of sleep is enoughto wipe fatigue.) When she wakes, she settles back rather than rising, trying to reach the meditative state for her dreamwalking. It is important, this time, to walk the mountain.

Seeing that the gods are not ready to give him more info he finds a good spot and goes to sleep.Rex wrote: ↑Wed Apr 24, 2024 4:21 pmAbout an hour after arriving Murgar casts the bones. He studies them intently, but finds no useful information.Ahlmzhad wrote: ↑Wed Apr 24, 2024 3:25 pm Murgar

Location Unknown

Dawn
The night begins to lessen about 3 hours after you arrived. Dawn slowly arriving over the taller mountains to your east. Ingram, about to finish his first watch decides to wake everyone to see what they can learn of their location.
Looking around you sit on a natural flat circle in mountainous terrain. It is hard to judge your elevation but you are about 250 feet above a substantial river that is flowing northwest. Your location is on one side of the river valley below as it exits the mountains into a highland area. At the very extent of your view it appears the river turns and continues its course southwest, forming a horseshoe shape. It doesn't appear familiar to any of you, so not close to Azadmere.
Closer to you the flat circle area appears to have been used long ago. The rocks were clearly dragged into a semi circle facing down the river valley below and have been shaped to make excellent seats. Khuzdul sized seats. There is no evidence of recent use. There is also no fire pit or ring that you find. The view of the sunset here must be spectacular.
Lharzin and Murgar both feel something about this place seems special.
After having rested and "attuned" to the location you are at a natural Lyahvi (air/light/illusion) sanctum.
Lyahvi spells are +20 EML
Savorya (mind/divination/spirit, Murgar's convocation) and Peleahn (fire/action) are +10 EML
Jmorvi (artifice/metal) and Odivshe (darkness/water/cold) are -10 EML
Fyvria (earth/life cycles, Lharzin's convocation) are -20 EML (not a good idea to attempt casting these spells here)

Beryl
"If understand the land and I am not expert but the Felsha Mountains only has rivers flowing to the south or the east. The Sorkin Mountains only to the south and west. That leaves on the Jahl or Rayesha Mountains. The Rayesha are the only mountains that were Northwest of our previous position (although Jahl Mountains were N-NW). If this is the Rayesha Mountains than (1) any river flowing NW is in the opposite direction to get back and (2) Does not lead to any major civilization. The first priority has to be food and water and then getting more information on our current location."
