Open Quests & Tasks

This is where tasks that are generally available to anyone in the Chronicle to pursue and complete will be added.
Spring 1221 - Restoring the Library
Genser Vestius will compensate anyone who brings new materials to the library of the Covenant in the following way:
-1 Summa (basically a magical codex or textbook) at least 3 levels higher than the current best text in that Art in the library will be rewarded with 1 pawn of Herbam Vis per full 5 levels of Art that it outlines.
-25 levels of new spell scrolls not currently in the library will be rewarded with 1 pawn of Herbam Vis.
-1 Tractatus (a kind of open-ended one-time use text about a specific of an Art) of Quality higher than the highest quality Tractatus in the library in a given Art will be rewarded with 1 pawn of Herbam Vis.
Vis is a useful resource for many things--introduced on p.80 of the core rules--and it is also a valuable currency for exchange with magi for non-magical folk. The Herbam Vis supplying this quest is generated by the garden of the Covenant at a rate of 4 pawns per year (1/season) at the time of this post.
