<img src=URL></img>

Substitute "URL" with a hyperlink to the desired image

I like the image, very cool.

I always have issues getting pictures to stay working embedded like that. So I just upload them separately and never have any issues. Easier to do to.

Beneath the posting area, you need to switch to the 'Attachments' section, then press the 'Add files' button to select your image to upload.

Thanks! Now I see it, even though it has been there all along :P
Though... That will not allow me to embed it in the Character Sheet, will it?

Not directly in the character sheet, no. What you can do is post your character [sheet] and the image directly above or beneath it (usually wrapped in a 'spoiler' tag).

Actually, looking in the Character Sheets thread, it looks like TheMyth and gurusql found some way to embed their images into the Description section of the character sheet. So, it's possible, I've just never done it myself.

And unfortunately it seems you can use [fimg=width] here on the forums, but apparently not in the character sheet :/

I am not a computer person, but have been told the 2 options work differently. So, inside the sheet method actually links to where the image is located. If it moves or that site is down it doesn't appear. The other uploads it to that spot and it is there. This came up before and I asked someone who is a computer person about it as I couldn't see pictures embedded in the sheets and was wondering why. Can't vouch for the reason being accurate but I can that the sheet ones can and do disappear sometimes.

I was on a forum years ago that preferred users depend on links as opposed to adding content to the boards. I cannot recall what site it was though....

The Forum supports BBCode and PARTS of the character sheet support HTML. While they are similar they are different
