I think I used Karcsi's original picture as my id pic on the old board, but I spent 10 mins on neural.love, and this in some ways are better, it shows his hair how I think.

Here is what I have for Donovan. I will put it in the character sheet format.

I need to beef up his background a bit. I don't know if I was one of the people recruited from the Core. I will work on melee combat and strength and dexterity

Thanks for setting that up! Are there general categories of guns from which to choose? Given his background shotgun would be most appropriate

I'll add Shotgun to Donovan's sheet. I'm going old school here using CT (mostly), everybody starts with 0 in all weapons, but starting at 1 different stats for different weapons. I'm making it easier to train in them, so train in one of the others for a few weeks and get a 1 in Auto Pistol, Rifle, or SMG.

In play, I'm generally going to be somewhat loose in application. My take is that almost anything in rifle works with all rifles, pretty much any sort of pistol works with all pistols, but Shotgun, SMG, MG, Accelerator, Gauss, and Laser weapons would be their own categories.

Not at the moment, but when they are done with the 'magic' box, Karcsi is going to go to Eng to print the weapons we talked about.

Terry, Flighty should be careful what he wishes for, or he just might get it! :)

There have been a series of fortunate (or unfortunate, depending upon how you look it it) rolls since this thread began. Everytime any of you came close to "the object" in the box you had a chance to be affected. I really didn't expect all the successes on the 12+, 10+, and 8+ rolls that I made for those of you who exposed themselves to "the object" in various ways. Now, the "snake" was exposed long term as was Sigrun, who was stuck near it for years. So, yes, it and she were bound to be "touched" in some way. However, everybody (including Flighty), except Doug back in Engineering (so far), failed (or succeeded depending on how you look at it) and got enhanced Psi scores...and some of you have clearly shown various kinds of "wild talents"...emphasis on "wild" and not repeatable on call without training...as you are still "in range" of the object and I've been rolling on everything that happens to see if something more happens.

FYI, if you want to know:
Flat 2d6 to enhance, then 2d6+PSI-Terms to activate in some way >= 12+ completely sealed metal container, 10+ cracked container, 8+ open container (in or out of the foam), 6+ touching you. Once per day, unless the object comes into closer proximity to the character.
