It's 2d6 in OSE. And where will they flee to?

Myrrh

# Undead turned [2d6]=5

Then the turned ones cower as far away from me as they can and we have time to deal with the ones I didn't turn, to make a coordinated plan, or to flee if need be,

That roll made it easy....

The skeletons are unfazed by Myrrh's display of faith.

What is everyone else doing?

Gromp Stoneskull, dwarf

By the blazing balls of Vashanka, what devilry is this?!” bellows Gromp.

He charges into the skeletons, low and swinging steel.

Sword [1d20]=6 [1d8]=6 Probably a miss, unless Str and a charge bonus exists in the rules?

Lia

Lia's eyes go wide at the sight of the skeletons. "Undead abominations!," she yells raising hammer and shield and moving in to attack.

Attack Roll: [1d20]=18

Gromp pushes past Myrrh, swinging his sword but failing to connect!

Lia rushes past the men, swinging her hammer towards the bigger skeleton. She hits! It crumbles to bone fragments.

Behind the remaining skeleton, a third skeleton rises from the pile.

Still facing 2 skellies. After all PCs go, I will give NPC actions.

Ellith

Drawing warhammer and shield, Ellith wades in on one of the remaining skeletons, Faron close on his heels.

To hit with Warhammer: [1d20+1]=4+1=5, Damage: [1d6+1]=5+1=6

His swing is unfortunately very poorly aimed.

Myrrh already acted this round with his failed Turning.

Faron pounces but misses! Faron pounce! [1d20+2]=9+2=11 Damage [2d4]=4

Cinders rushes in, blade whirling! Scimitar [1d20+4]=10+4=14 Damage [1d6+1]=4+1=5 She smashes through the large skelston!

Brinna moves to strike the smaller skeleton. Her swordstrike shatters the undead creation! Sword [1d20+1]=15+1=16 Damage [1d8+1]=2+1=3

COMBAT ENDED

As everyone stands panting after battle, they note the scene before them:

In the middle of the room is a dead halfling with a short sword and dagger next to it.

In the northwest corner of the room are 3 piles of shattered skeleton fragments.

Myrrh

Sorry about that, I thought we were moving to the next round for some reason.

Myrrh will close the halfling's eyes and say a prayer over him to guide his soul home. Then he will examine him and try to determine cause of death, anything noteworthy, etc.

Brondulm

Sorry folks, I had some personal stuff pop Friday and Saturday not intentionally sitting out the fight.

Brondulm is impressed by Brinna and Cinder's sword work. Once the Skeletons are dispatched he moves to the halfling body and examines it with Myrrh.

The halfling died from sword wounds. Most likely the skeletons' swords.

The halfling's chainmail is in excellent condition, despite the condition of the body. He also has a coin pouch.

I don't think this poor creature will need that chainmail any longer, I suppose we can sell it back to Wrack and Glim along with the sword. Does anyone need a dagger? If noone objects, I will check his purse and show you what is inside.

Brinna Birget (npc)

"This chainmail might fit me..." Brinna says as she doffs her cloak. "We could wrap the body in my cloak and I could take the chainmail. Someone help me get it off the poor bugger."

Although the halfling's corpse is stiff, the chainmail slips off in no time...as does Brinna's leather armor!

"This mail fits perfectly!" Brinna exclaims. "Could it be enchanted? Either way, I have my new armor!"

****

As Brinna deals with the armor, Brondulm checks the pouch and finds 18 gold and 5 platinum coins!

The dagger looks normal, but the short sword is expertly crafted. The sword also has some sort of symbols on it.

Brondulm

The sword does look finely crafted. Ellith can you tell what the runes mean? Is one person going to carry the coins and we can divide it later? I volunteer to carry that load.
