Chapter 7: I7 - Baltron's Beacon
Re: Chapter 7: I7 - Baltron's Beacon
Telurion
"Well met to you, Mrs Lissende and Mr. Elzedar" - Telurion nodded his head, packing the net as there seemed to be no objections.
(I feel like I may be missing something here - are Mr and Mrs Nameless some kind of monsters, and I missed it? )
"That halberd and scimitar might also be worth some gold, if we have a way to carry them" - he commented to his new traveling companions.
(Do you already have an SOP for the loot handling?)

They are mongrelmen. Friendly ones though as we rescued them from the spriggans.Edeldhur wrote: ↑Thu Apr 04, 2024 2:39 pm Telurion

"I am fine with that."
I think we have always split monetary stuff as even as we could and magic items by best fit.

“Sounds like a good idea” - Telurion nodded.
(My question was not so much about loot distribution, but loot inventory. Is anyone keeping track of it somewhere?)

Durand "Well if I may chime in. There is room enough. We could always take one more up front with me and Quinn. Based on how these two are talking I doubt they plan to adventure off on the quest you all are on. If you want to wait around here we can run those two back to the city and come back for you all. Or we can drop you folks off and return to the city with them afterwards." the driver offers.

Re: Chapter 7: I7 - Baltron's Beacon
Durand nods his head and helps get things and folks loaded into the cart as he and Quinn get in the driver's seat and so forth. "Gonna be rough for a bit we're gonna go round the tree in the road and go through the grass on the side there." he warns everyone folks are more than welcome to walk around if they so choose and he will stop on the other side to get everyone in. Taking it slow and easy the cart and horses make it around the tree to the other side of the road and proceed onward with little in the way of hindrance until darkness threatens to fall on the group. the driver calls back "Gonna get dark soon. What do ya folks say make camp or press on after stopping to light some lanterns?" he asks as he has riggings to hang lanterns near the front of the cart beacon lanterns aimed forwards to light the way. "Gotta stop and water and feed the horses anyway." by this point you have been traveling for many hours since the encounter with the spriggan gnomes, 6 hours or so roughly.

"I agree we should stop. I think that we should camp here overnight, unless we can make it to our destination in a few hours."
He gets out the map and tries to determine where they are how much longer to their destination.

It does not make much sense to continue on if we risk injurying the horses. Who will accompany me to collect firewood?
