Welcome aboard Edeldhur We keep crossing paths.
Re: Dressing Room (New OOC Thread)
Nice to see you both!
Just rolled the dice - not shabby at all, but no 18s, so no extraordinary Strength
17, 12, 13, 11, 16, 14

Re: Dressing Room (New OOC Thread)
It's as current as it can be I just didn't remove the semi-active character Therick I will make a placement for "semi-active"Edeldhur wrote: ↑Sun Feb 18, 2024 4:09 pm Thank you! Glad to be onboard
Quick question right off the bat - the 'Currently Active' list is up to date?
And one more just for good measure - if I go with a dual Class (not sure I can manage the points for it) Fighter/Mage, I will start with levels 4/1?
I can just put up a mock character to roll the ability scores in the dice roller, right?

Hey, Nothing wrong with the rolls you have there. 17 16. My last character I rolled has mostly 10's with my best roll a 12.

Re: Dressing Room (New OOC Thread)
Egon is by far my best rolls here. I am playing a character with a high score of 14 and a low of 3 in another game. Rolled with 4d6 drop lowest no less. I also have a character with a 4 Int, LOL. Take what you can when you can is my motto.

Welcome Edeldhur!
Re: Dressing Room (New OOC Thread)
Thank you! Mulling over what I want to play - the group is already pretty well rounded. Maybe just missing a single class Fighter
I think an idea is coalescing - a Fighter with dual daggers. I like the style of it, and never played one. Might dual class into Thief somewhere along the way - would that work?
More ideas - was planning on taking either the Swashbuckler or the Gladiator kits. Would they fit into the game?

Re: Dressing Room (New OOC Thread)
I think to dual class fighter into thief later you would need to be human and have your 16 in Str and 17 in Dex, then be at least 2nd level in Fighter. Assuming Ed allows it at all, not sure on that. The concept is intresting, in 2e a straight class fighter with a decent Int can do lots of different things with the specialty system.
Re: Dressing Room (New OOC Thread)
Yep, that would be more or less the plan - for now Ftr lvl4, with the possibility of Dual Classing Thief in the future. Character idea is something along the lines of Artemis Entreri but with dual daggers, and the high(ish) Charisma would be more of an animal magnetism kind of thing, and not so much good looks or a 'foppish' attitude.
Str 16
Dex 17
Con 13
Int 12
Wis 11
Cha 14
Questions abound:
- Swashbucklers get 2 bonus Weapon Proficiencies which need to be spent on stiletto, main-gauche, rapier and sabre.
- Can I use these 2 points to buy proficiency in the Tight Group 'Fencing Weapons' (which includes all of the above)?
- If I specialize in dagger, will it apply to main gauche?
I'll stop here for now

I'm pretty willing to allow things. As long as they aren't way out there ideas.I think to dual class fighter into thief later you would need to be human and have your 16 in Str and 17 in Dex, then be at least 2nd level in Fighter. Edeldhur should be almost ready. I'll post an update and when he is all set I'll throw one up for what he can see from his vantage point.

Re: Dressing Room (New OOC Thread)
I do not have any player private threads other than Darklin2 but I have requested one for everyone to be created with no rush. We can use that vs PMs to discuss stuff once they are created. You can have a copy of your sheet there if it is easier to find/manage for you. So just look for those in the future.

Re: Dressing Room (New OOC Thread)
You're welcome. They have been created. I just put in everyone's private thread a personal OOC and a Character Stuff thread. OOC is what is means. The other can be used for anything relating to your character that you wish to track or discuss with me or if I have private actions for characters 1 on 1 vs a s a group.

Re: Dressing Room (New OOC Thread)
Alright so is that all the interaction after the encounter or is there more you plan to say & do? I'm not 100% sure what to do for an update since it sounds like nobody is 100% certain what to do with the "prisoners" or these new patchwork looking mongrel elves.

Re: Dressing Room (New OOC Thread)
I feel like the presence of Telurion has also kind of gone… Unnoticed?
Re: Dressing Room (New OOC Thread)
Egon had to tie the prisoners up before hold person wore off. Plan was to move on to Telurion after. Not sure why I was waiting for an update but I was.
