What's Next?

#1 Post by GreyWolfVT »

Alright so I am still hemming and hawing over what to run next trying to not leave the Mystara realm and fall into Forgotten Realms, DragonLance, Ravenloft or GreyHawk. I've found a few options so far in my searching that I actually have.

Hrothgar's Resting Place (Dragon Magazine Issue #25) for level 4-7
X6 - Quagmire! for levels 4-10
B10 Night's Dark Terror for levels 2-4
I1 - Dwellers of the Forbidden City for levels 4-7
I7 - Baltron's Beacon for levels 4-8

I know others have thrown suggestions out but since I have these this is what I'm offering at the moment. Let me know your thoughts on these.

First of all - always GM pick as that will make the adventure the most fun

Since you are asking for opinions, I would vote down B10 and X6 from the suggested levels

I would up vote for the magazine one if you want a shorter adventure (is it Dragon or Dungeon, I don't remember an adventure that far back in Dragon) or I7 (I always liked the cover picture, but know nothing about the adventure)

Any way I will support whatever you select. :D

I’d agree pick the one you like most. If the DM enjoys the campaign the pcs will likely have a fun time too.

I’d like to stretch Trist’s legs so level 4-8 or 4-10 allows for growth. Might be fun to get into the mid levels. My choice though is whatever you would enjoy the most.

Update: I'm reading I7 how keen are you all on going into a swamp?

Been reading a bit in the Quagmire adventure as well and that one is a combination of wilderness, city, swamp, dungeon depends on which way the group goes but sounds like it would lead through multiple things.

Whichever way we go I am excited to get started with you all. I am just picturing our band with all the dwarves slogging through swamps...it is going to have its moments.

Egon is tall for a dwarf, just over 5 foot. He is my longest running character on here and one of if not my favorite.

Did I miss the coin split amount after we sold the items no one wanted?

Thanks,

No I hadn't split coins up wasn't sure if we were still doing a split plus a "group fund pot" and wasn't sure what was being sold or kept since not all players had chimed in. Therick may be the only other character able to use a staff for the what 3 different magical ones we have now.

So I think I've decided to go with I7 Baltron's Beacon it just has more draw to me. So that is what is coming up next.
