At the others calling, she pauses and scans the sky with her elven eyes. "Hmm. Where? Do they even raise young together?"
IF she spots it and thinks it is indeed a dragon and doesn't have time, she will abandon the autopsy and exit.
IF she spots it and thinks it isn't a dragon, or she has time, she'll continue cutting.
Str(14): Hard Check: [4d6]=14

Revised Post For Lerrick and Cresty
Cresty
Upon hearing the warning from Wes the fighter moves towards the portal with his newly aquired weapon drawn. As he enters and moves into the vast darkness within his sword emits some light. He moves to the right of the entrance.
Lerrick
The cleric's interest in the dragon dissection ends at the warning of another flying creature heading towards the group. She too moves with haste into the portal entrance, reaching into a her cloak as she does so for a glow stone. She holds the stone with her left hand and moves towards the light emitting from the blade of Cresty's sword. Once there she turns to shed light for the others members of the party

Princess is able to plunge her magic sword through the thick hide of the dragon, causing a few of its innards to fall outwards. As she looks around for a stomach, Wes warns the group about the possibility of something horrible happening.
After losing two friends already, the rest of the group doesn't need to be told twice that they need to RUN AWAY!!!
Princess looks up from her bloody work to see she has been abandoned, and the white speck in the sky is no longer a speck, but a white dragon shaped figure flying so fast, she doesn't have time to debate the rearing habits of dragons with the others.
Those who ran immediately make it to the obelisk portal, entering the Dark Ether with light sources at the ready. Despite their illuminations, it is still pretty dark in there.

When Princess notices that she has been left alone to deal with the oncoming threat, she too sprints for the portal and rushes inside.
Once there, she finds the remainder of the group, minus the pair they lost earlier, obviously.
Inside the Dark Ether is a pure blackness that envelops even the brightest light sources. The portal sheds the only other visible light inside, allowing natural light to enter, though without sound or smells.
The place is strange, to be sure, but it doesn't feel inherently dangerous or evil. It's just really dark and silent inside, even the floor itself appears to be nothing more than a solid black reflection.
Fortunately, no dragons decide to pay you a visit while you catch your breath there in the darkness.

The cleric looks around the the vast area of darkness. I was in a place like this not too long ago. Cresty and Tlatchga were with me. We walked into darkness like what we see here...in a direction opposite of where we entered and eventually reach a place to exit the darkness...which, upon moving through it, took us into an new world where the air was hard to breath. What we encountered there is a tale for another time. Her voice trails off as she becomes preoccupied with memories of the strange expedition. After a moment she she states My guess is that if we do the same thing here we'll eventually reach an exit to another strange place.

"We need to extinguish or cover up all our light sources and make it absolute darkness in here. Then we look away from this portal and allow our eyes to adjust. Then we look for a pin prick of light out there and move towards it. It will be the other portal. At least that is how the other obelisk worked."
