Koenig's Rock has dynamic on-line existence - and it has space for making small-scale holos: which it manages to export!
Don't be fooled by the small size of the town - the comms network extends over a considerable distance and acts as a life-line for the thousands of independent belters that are scattered across the region.
The below are NOT every entry. (I really haven't the time or skill to do that, and many would have content that this platform would expurgate.)

Landing Areas at Capacity
Koenig's Rock landing areas are completely jammed as belters come into town for the Imperial New Year celebrations and the Free Midnight Concert.
With all pads occupied, the late arrivals are having to place their craft in freefall. Shuttle Services are available. Nearly 750 separate vessels have arrived so far.

IISS Swoops on Epsilon Dig
IISS investigators have swooped on the Archaeological Dig on Epsilon in connection with alleged theft of objects from the site.
Dr Kikiig Resolver, an alumni of the Imperial University of Iderati's Department of Archaeology has been escorted to Garrison while irregularities in site record keeping are investigated.

LSP Bifrost enters maintenance cycle
The LSP Bifrost base has entered a maintenance cycle and will be providing limited output over the two weeks over new year. About 2/3rds of the staff have been given leave for the period.
With Koenig's Rock being at closest approach to Bowman Prime, many of these people are expected to be visiting here.

Mail Ship "Herald" overdue
The McClellan mail ship Herald, due 1105-364 from Flammarion is now officially overdue.
The delivery of new-year messages and gifts will take place urgently when it arrives. As many will be aware, such late arrivals can be for many reasons and there is not, at this stage, any undue cause for alarm.

Exploding Penguins Warm Up New Year

In an enthusiastic set, our own "Exploding Penguins" opened this evenings gig - warming up the tunnels for the New Year.
No one in the Old Town will forget their bright and enthusiastic renderings - and Mikka Shirkisha's gitar solo will certainly be remembered as the first outing of a promising young virtuoso. The band managed a creditable performance in front of that hard audience: Family and Friends.

The Ball Court and Gym, Koenig, remind you that the annual new-year climbing race will be held starting at 10:00.
Fastest to complete the full course* in full Vacc-Suit (and to have correctly placed the dummy mining charge) will gain 50% of the pot; Second Place: 25% of the pot; 3rd Place: 10% of the pot, 4th Place: 5% of the pot. Cr10 to enter.
A free race for under 14's will take place thereafter.
The Gym's Coffee Pot will be available for refreshments.
*Full course will be displayed on the day. Gravity will vary during the race as described in the course details.
No Grav Belts or Thrusters.
Referee's decision is final.

Local Musician Wows Audience

Local drummer Zuni Irkirin (14) - known as Zoomer to his friends and tonight's audience - made an outstanding performance at the morning's concert. His complex rhythms entranced the crowd. A prophet who was appreciated in his own country! It just took a stranger to recognise him.

Emergency at Koenig's Rock
Koenig's Rock appears to have suffered a major attack on its infrastructure. Damage to power and gravitational systems has been admitted and several small craft near to the rock appear to have been hit by the raiders. Some residents have been injured during the raid, but no fatalities have been recorded.
The attack cut the gravity at the New Years Concert and this significantly hampered the emergency response by the KRPA.
Offers of help have been received from the IISS and LSP Security Services.
Sources have suggested that the Rock's Mass-Driver is down as a result of the power-outage.

208th Fleet Refresh Announced
Messages just in from Iderati announce a major overhaul of the 208th Fleet under a "New Century" initiative. The Fleet's Headquarters is to be substantially restructured with multiple new facilities and the Duke of Iderati has announced a refresh of the older destroyers with 50 new hulls to be delivered over the next 10 years.
