Cassius

He gets enough of the conversation to understand that everyone is staying put. He will start to clear the bodies, taking them out into the hall, past the vestibule.

"Give me a hand, eh Roan?"

Roan grumbles something about 'the dirty work' "Yup, comin'." is all he says loud enough to be heard well, as he goes to help Cassius.

With the room and hallway cleared of dead lizards, the companions shut the doors and rest.
As exhausted as they are, even the Elves in the group need more rest than they normally would. How long they sleep/rest is unknown down in the depths of the tomb of the lizard king, but they feel a bit better when they slowly begin to awaken and stir around. Stiff and sore, the companions eat some of their rations as they decide what to do next...

Uninterrupted, you guys slept many, many hours; I awarded 3 hit points to each one; note the stats below have changed a bit. I'm assuming Roan and Cassius pile them in one of the vacant acolyte rooms.
Actions?

Stats:
Cassius - AC -1/3, HP 19/39
Fahima - AC 4/8, HP 9/29
Roan - AC 5/6, HP 18/49
Sai - AC -2/4, HP 15/30 (Prot. from Evil) (Blur; AC -6/-4)
Zan - AC 9, HP 15/15
Gormundel - down 24
Lt. Dan - down 22

Cassius

Cassius wakes and prepares for the day. "I didn't have a chance last night, but thank you all for your part in those fights. We made it through together with everyone playing huge roles. And I'd especially like to thank all the healing that was thrown my way."

"I'm beaten and weary, but I still have a task to complete here. I promised Gormundel that I would help him throw off his shackles and I intend to do just that." He looks around at the others. "Any ideas on how to move forward?"

Zan

With Zan's sleep and his spells restored he will cast a CLW on Fahima, and then again on Fahima (9 HP total) and then on Roan (5 HP).

Cure Light Wounds [1d8]=6
Cure Light Wounds [1d8]=3
Cure Light Wounds [1d8]=5

"Easy come, easy go on the spells."

P.S. Zan's HP total should be 18 please.

Sai

Has two cure Moderate Wounds spells before we sleep for Fahima. And he does his prayers and study the following morning if anyone else needs healing.

Is everyone OK this morning or is healing attention required.

------------------------------------------------------------------
[1d10+4]=3+4=7 Cure Moderate Wounds

[1d10+4]=8+4=12 Cure Moderate Wounds

Zan can keep 2 of those Cure Lights if he wants too.

With the GM's permission - Zan will only have given the one cure to Roan then.

Added back on sheet.

Greyhawk, 586 CY, Readying 21, Afternoon?

In the temple of the lizard king, the companions rest and heal up, invoking various gods for their ministrations.
Sai healed Fahima up before the rest, so she's good to go; I gave Zan's CLW 6 to Roan, who is about halfway.

While Roan and Fahima share a wineskin, Cassius has something to say:
"I'm beaten and weary, but I still have a task to complete here. I promised Gormundel that I would help him throw off his shackles and I intend to do just that." He looks around at the others. "Any ideas on how to move forward?"

Lt. Dan looks at Gormundel and then back to the group. "We can venture on, but only if we are healed up too. Gormundel can barely keep his head up."
Indeed the wizard looks like death warmed over, but still manages a weak smile. "I applaud your eagerness, young Elf, but I fear you and your companions are in over your heads. We barely survived this assault. Imagine what awaits us in Sakatha's lair."
Gormundel breaks into a fit of coughing, his hands moving over his face as if trying to claw away the spore vines...which are no longer there.
"Maybe the basilisk has taken care of Ol' Sakatha," Lt. Dan offers. "If so, all we will have to do is drive a nail in his coffin, so to speak."

Stats:
Cassius - AC -1/3, HP 19/39
Fahima - AC 2/6, HP 30/31
Roan - AC 5/6, HP 24/49
Sai - AC -2/4, HP 15/30
Zan - AC 9, HP 18/18
Gormundel - down 24
Lt. Dan - down 22

Roan "An what if tha beast ain't done the deed? What will happen ta us then eh?" the dwarf dares reply to the wizard & Dan's comments. Then the dwarf takes a swig of his ale skin.

Fahima

"We need to finish this I think. But obviously we need to get ourselves into a better spot, healed up more and fully prepared. The question is do we try resting up and healing inside here or somewhere else?"

Cassius

"What tricks does Sakatha have in store for us, then? If we knew about these spores, we would have done things differently."

Cassius nods at Fahima. "Right. Here is good, but maybe Gormundel's private quarters would allow a more familiar rest."

Gormundel winces in pain and says, "Sakatha needs no tricks. He will attempt to charm us when he first sees us...that is, if his minions don't grab us first. If we had some way of creating an effect mimicking sunlight, we would be able to face him. Of course, the basilisk is the key. Nothing can kill it that I know of. If it indeed has reached Sakatha's lair...well then, who knows what awaits us."
He then casts a weary gaze upon Cassius. "In my private chambers, there are poultices which could help with our healing. Although, it seems some of you are quite adept at that on your own."
