OK, crap, a rewind is in order. Due to the 1 point of damage from missile fire, Ylyndyr is actually blinking and -3 on everything. He should attack G4 so he can give a decent defense and let Marcus take out G5.

(BTW, I did mess up last round and G5 should not have been stunned, but I'm not going to take that back...)

So remaining you have G1, G3, G4 (wounded), and G6 vs Poeninus (uninjured), Ylyndyr (blinking), and Marcus (uninjured). Ylyndyr could step back and allow Poeninus and Marcus to close ranks, but that would allow the goblins to get 3 on 1 on either Poeninus or Marcus. Ylyndyr could also shrug off the blinking for a round (and then be -4 on subsequent rounds).

Casting a spell in your state would be very detrimental. You would either take -6 to success on top of the -3 from blinking and no (additional) defense penalty, or take -8 defense for only the -3 blinking penalty or -4 defense for a -3 penalty plus -3 for blinking. Then your to hit for the fireball will be -3 for blinking. And if you take any damage while casting the spell that's an additional -2 success per point of damage taken while casting.

Let's rewind and say that Ylyndyr shrugs off blinking. Losing the -3 penalty doesn't mean he hits, but now he is only hit for 1x damage, 1d8 can't penetrate his armor.
And now I suggest Ylyndyr try and go berserk. That will shrug off the blinking for the rest of the combat. It will give him +4 to attack (with what he's been rolling, he would be hitting) and -1 defense, but if he goes below -1/4 his hit points, he's dead.
Looking at the battle, Marcus will also try to go berserk

Not a great roll, but the situation is desperate... Ylyndyr rallies himself with rage against the goblins.

Any changes in targets for anyone? I think previous targets make sense. Go ahead and roll attacks (or indicate you prefer I make the roll) and I'll resolve another round of combat and see where we get.
