Re: The Crimson Caverns
Clain
Seeing the light burst from the Kobold's eyes along with it's howls of pain, Clain steels himself to finally finish the creature off. Hopefully.

Re: The Crimson Caverns
"Hold still, ye rascal!" Durnik hollers while trying (in vain) to drive the kobold into the ground with his pick.
Blind by the light radiating out from under-hand covered eyes, the kobold fails to see Ronin approach with his wolf spear and skewer the wretch.
The kobold engaged with Durnik pauses but a second before turning tail and running towards the opposite side of the chamber.

Re: The Crimson Caverns
While the swift and lithe Clain chases after the fleeing Kobold, it is mighty Roan's wolf spear that brings the reptile down before it can escape into the tunnels. In the chase, the two see there are three passages out of this chamber. It was the last one on the left which the Kobold was fleeing to.

Re: The Crimson Caverns
On account of your preparations and the speed of the fleeing kobold, the creature manages to get out of your sight as you head in the direction he scattered towards. Passing the first tunnel on your left, you see an incline of about 15' going into the next chamber. Proceeding towards the back of the cave, the tunnel to your right sloops downward but bends away from your light source so you do not know how far it goes down. The 2nd tunnel on your left, the one of the kobold fled down, slopes downward about 20 feet before curling back to the left. The kobold is no where in sight.

Follows along, frustrated the kobold got away. "The little rascal is sure to warn others. Wonder what these other tunnels lead to?"

Re: The Crimson Caverns
Descending cautiously you find the tunnel turns to the west at the end of it's descent. Gazing as far as the torchlight allows you, you see the tunnel continue due west but there is no sign of the kobold who fled.
