Ronan

"Sure." He loads Durnik up.

Ronan is used to it and past caring. :)

I need everyone to make a WISDOM attribute check. Remember to add +1 for your current level to your WIS modifier.

Just an FYI, I will occasionally be asking for certain rolls prior to the situation arising. This way the results of the rolls will not always take immediate results. I want to try and keep you on your toes so that you won't know if something is about to happen or something may happen on the path you currently tread.

Following along the hall, you quickly find yourself in another chamber. All (except Clain) are surprised to be confronted by three vicious dog-headed humanoids (kobolds) brandishing spears at them.

Spoiler for Clain's eyes only
A fourth Kobold is scurrying around the back of the chamber and headed down a hall to the north.

The first Kobold jabs at Clain only to stumble forward missing completely.

The second Kobold jabs at Durnik but is no more successful in landing a hit however it is able to stand it's ground.

The third jabs at Ronin but is no more successful than the others.

Clain, you were not surprised by the Kobolds and therefore you will have an action this round. I need initiative rolls (1d10) from everyone for next round.

With a grunt, Durnik swings his heavy pick at the creature...

Clain

Side stepping the Kobolds spear, Clain reacts with a swing of his own sword.

Missing with his swing, the Druid tries to thrust at the dog-faced humanoid instead.

Noticing one of the kobolds scampering off, Clain shouts. "I saw another one of them head north! Reinforcements could be coming!"

Hemmor

Hemmor will add some more light to the situation and attempt to cast a Light spell on the eyes of the kobold attacking Clain.

With the other three members of his party gripped with surprise, Clain swings his broadsword at the dog faced reptile, however the chittering creature is able to duck under his blade.

From it's crouched position, it jabs once again but still misses.

The second kobold stabs at Durnik, the spear biting into the dwarf's armor but not finding an opening.

The third kobold stabs at Ronin only to stumble on the coarse floor.

Switching up his strike, Clain thrusts his broadsword at the kobold but the nimble creature dodges away. Hemmor, meanwhile, casts Light at the Kobold who screams in terror and pain as it it blinded by the spell.

With a grunt, Durnik swings his heavy pick at the creature but it is able to duck under the dwarf's swing. Ronan, for his part, jabs at the kobold with his wolf spear, skewering the reptile.

Top of the initiative order.
The kobold who was attacking Clain continues to writhe in pain from the light spell.
Good thing as this was it's attack roll on Clain.
The kobold engaged with Durnik continues to swing ineffectively.

Party's actions.

Durnik

Is surprised by the Kobold's quickness and yells at it, "Hold still, ye rascal!" while trying (in vain) to drive it into the ground with his pick.

Ronan attacks again.

Wolf Spear [1d20+2]=18+2=20 to hit [1d8+2]=4+2=6 damage
Which one? The one you were engaged with is deceased. That leaves the one with Clain who is effectively blind at the moment thanks to the Light spell and the one trading whiffs with Durnik (they both keep swinging but neither has landed a strike yet.) You also remember Clain said one escaped to the north west. But all you have is his word.
