The druid follows close behind and begins to whisper to the group. "I do not like this...either it's friends are further away, or they have some nasty surprise waiting for us...watch for traps."

He begins to study the floor and ceiling in intervals as they continue on.

Hemmor will be looking for an ambush, the kobold way.

Durnik watches the backs of his companions as they move along, ready for these pesky kobolds to try a sneak attack.

Moving along, you are surprised by the lack of traps or the presence of any other kobolds. That is until you sight the corridor ahead opening into another larger cavern. One kobold is chittering to another before turning around and pointing at you. You aren't completely sure but this one looks like the one who escaped you in the previous chamber. The two then quickly look further into the chamber before both turn to you, crouch down and grip their spears tight. They seem much less likely to flee from the looks you see now compared to the expressions you saw on the previous group.

Is the map showing how far we can see into the cavern in general or just with the current light source?

I'd like for Clain to cast Light behind the Kobolds to reveal more of the cavern if that is possible. If not, he'll take a shot at one of the Kobolds instead.

Casting Light on a stone (remember it has to be cast on an object within range of 150' but also in sight prior to casting) behind the 2 kobolds, the entirety of the cavern increases and you see the two kobolds were most likely communicating with the other 6 kobolds likewise carrying spears. Closer to the left side of the cavern where the Light spell fails to eliminate the entire chamber you see what appears to be three female kobolds and a number of young ones.

I was going to address it with the start of combat once I received everyone's initiative. Unfortunately, no. That was a miss.

Does Hemmor has clear LOS of the 6 kobolds? If he does he will cast Color Spray on them. Otherwise he will try and get the LOS to do the same.
