"Alright. Let's wait here then.
Good luck Amun."
Elnaerel only nods and looks down into the darkness as Amun moves towards it.

Dungeon Training
Fake Treasure Room
Mr. Wrenly shrieks loudly when Amun enters the darkness, his animal senses at full alert.
The brave fighter experiences a pain she has never felt before as soon as she enters the void, nearly bringing her to her knees within the first step or two. Her senses are instantly assailed, leaving her only a moment to realize that this area of the room doesn't look natural. A brief glimpse of the wall beyond the darkness gives the impression that this area has been battered and collapsed, now standing in complete ruin. That is the only feature she has time to make out.
Before any further investigations can be made, the intense pain wracking her body becomes too much to handle, causing her to stumble and fall. 6 dam The evil sensations penetrating this void nearly results in a complete blackout, causing the others to quickly pull the fallen woman back out from the ominous void.
Though she doesn't look to have any new physical injuries on her, it becomes very clear to the others that humanoids don't do well in the area beyond the black. There is no sign of Chauncey or Darklin in the room or inside the darkness. There is no answer if either are called.
Little Mr. Wrenly tries his hardest to pull Waesfaren back towards the pole, shrieking at him and pointing up at the hole in the ceiling with an obvious intention to leave this area behind before things get any worse.

Wes
Wes listens intently to Mr. Wrenly's screeching. "We should go. Now! It's not safe here anymore," he says urgently. "Mr. Wrenly says that Chauncey is no longer here. He also says that there's something wrong with Amun, with her neck."
Wes puts his hands on the metal pole and begins to climb. "Quickly, Mr. Wrenly! Up you go!"

Grimm and Elnaerel doesn't wait for the others to react and start climbing up the pole after Wes' words.
Re: Intermediate Dungeon Training
Amun groans as she tries to stand up while supporting herself against a wall.
"The darkness. It is not of this world, too evil, almost....demonic. There's no way forward for us here, unless we can banish this evil first."
She goes for the pole as well, gathers her strength again, and tries to climb up with the others.
"What did you say about my neck?" She massages her throat and the back of the neck. "I did not feel anything special, I think."

Elnaerel will wait a bit longer after her initial reaction and help Amun.
Grimm gets the rope back once they're back up.

After helping Luther up, Amun will massage her neck and try to feel if something's wrong.

Dungeon Training
Fake Treasure Room
Once the group gets back up to the safety of the fake treasure room, Amun checks her neck over for anything out of the ordinary. Fortunately, she doesn't find any anomalies to worry about.
With the room below obviously altered in a way that wasn't part of the initial floor plan in this place, the group seems to be at an impasse, with no more rooms to search.
As they catch their breath and ponder the loss of the most powerful wizard on this island, they start to hear the distinct sounds of talking and possibly fighting all the way back in the room they initially entered to get here.

Re: Intermediate Dungeon Training
Grimm
"What's that. Do you hear it? Should we go back?
This is a little disappointing. I was expecting treasures and riches. Instead we lost the mage.
I'm not happy about that black gate... Never saw anything like that in my life before, but... It didn't hide anything for us... But pain.
Any ideas before we go back?"
Elnaerel
"I don't really know what we could do here. It's just dangerous and we've been risking our lives for... Nothing? Poor Chauncey.
We should go back. I think it sounds like battle."

Wes
"I hate to think we've lost Chauncey, says Wes, sadly. "But Mr. Wrenly says he can't detect him anywhere."
"We should put our trust in Obad Hai. We've lost Chauncey for now. But we haven't seen his body. He's out there somewhere."
Wes looks in the direction that the noises are coming from. "We might as well go back, there's no reason to stay here. But keep your eyes open. This could be a lure for another trap".
"Mr. Wrenly, we're going to keep looking for Chauncey, I promise."

Re: Intermediate Dungeon Training
Amun is startled by the commotion and seems to snap out of the shock from the pain with surprising speed.
"It's our friends! I knew that three headed giant was up to something. We cannot lose more members, there's so few of us left. Let's go back and help them."
She starts backtracking their journey so far (avoiding pit traps ^^) to see what's going on.

Dungeon Training
Above The Fake Treasure Room
Mr. Wrenly does not look like a happy monkey. He doesnt respond to Wes, but he does tail along perched atop the druids extremely hairy head.
With little else they can do here, the group hurries back through the distorted training dungeon, past the rooms and the traps, up the caved in floor and back into the large columned room they entered initially.
The place remains empty, but the sounds of battle and cries from their friends can now easily be heard coming from the entry chamber where you initially met up with the three headed giant.
Though they cant yet tell what is happening, Amun's suspicion seems very valid after hearing the sounds of fighting just beyond the open doorway.

Re: Intermediate Dungeon Training
Grimm and Elanerel get their hand to hand weapons ready.
"Let's see what's here." says the dwarf. "Don't use ranged weapons, since they can hurt our friends."
They will enter the room, cautiously despite the current mayham.

Re: Intermediate Dungeon Training
Wes
Crossing the threshold, Wes hears Aliendron call out about someone being charmed. Wes begins to summon Obad-Hai's power to dispel such magic. Then he hears Tlachga chanting the same incantation in the druid tongue.
Changing plan, Wes instead uses the power of his god to cast Heat Metal upon the giant's chainmail armor.

No More Dungeon Training
Hearing only a voice, Wes knows exactly what to do.
The group rushes out into the main entryway again to find a battle already raging.
