OOC II
Re: OOC II
I posted this before but with 3 new players, 2 from Azadmere I thought I should post it again. It is a cool 10 minutes. The creator is the primary artist for Harn stuff, his youtube channel is worth following.

Re: OOC II
1015 days? Is that a typo? I though it was around a month.Rex wrote: ↑Fri Feb 02, 2024 5:20 am The 4 of you can move things along, skip to dinner etc as you like. In the end you will have to cover 1015 days time. this is just to give you a chance to discuss some things. Primarily the hunt and the risks associated with it. I will move it along when the other 2 get closer.
Re: OOC II
I assumed he meant 10-15 days.
Re: OOC II
Yup, 10-15 days. My proof reading skills suck late at night apparently, LOL.
Re: OOC II
Just so everyone knows where we are at.
The Kobing group is on the 25th of Nolus. The trip leg from Kobing to Burzyn averages 11 days in the summer season. Modified for weather and events. Plus however long it takes to get with a caravan leaving Kobing. Probably a week (10 days) max but hopefully shorter.
The group in Burzyn is currently on the 1st of Larane. Six days ahead. They are just planning unless they come up with something else they want to do in the next few days. I will be posting the armor rolls and who got what over the weekend.

I am fine with fast-forwarding to when the entire party is in the same place, and then discussing if we're still going on the hunt or doing something else.

Re: OOC II
I'm good either way. More time or update makes no difference to me.

Re: OOC II
The journey from Burzyn to the outpost can easily be done in 2 days on foot in good weather. Maybe 1 day if you pushed it. With your wagon the last leg will require some clearing and trail/road repair. So longer.Marullus wrote: ↑Fri Feb 16, 2024 8:20 pm To Arngier she replies, "How far is the journey? How many days should we provision for to stay? I would greatly like to spend some time communing with the stone. How far then is it from the outpost to the king, or would you need to return here first?" Turning to Beryl she adds, "In the morning suits me, how about you, Beryl? I can prepare in my wagon. Would you like to stay tonight in the Inn to plan with the men?"
Re: OOC II
Where do I find mount costs in the rules?
Re: OOC II
It isn't in the core rules (I can't explain that decision, just plain stupid). It is in the HarnWorld book. But you can just use this, it is free and has lots more then the HarnWorld book.

Re: OOC II
Probably not listed as such on any price list, but my version of dwarfs use pack goats when off trail (I love pack goats). They can go lots of places that even mules and donkeys can't.
Re: OOC II
I will give everyone another day to post and then move it along again. So figure a DM update Tuesday before or more likely after work.
Re: OOC II
I guess we just need to decide how long we are going to be at the outpost before we head back so we can buy enough provisions.
Re: OOC II
Yes, that is the first question. The second would be what if any supplies you want to get such as blankets, cook pots, tools to leave there etc.
