The Oasis
Re: The Oasis
Tuurma is now standing up, albeit not or sure footing.
"Hey....there's a tooth. I think."
She starts walking slowly towards the huts.

"I don't think leaving Kang here is a good idea. Between the goat, croc and monk these lot will only see 'bushmeat' if you get my drift."
Are they gold flecks in the stone? Or a stinky lump of Ambergris? Can we identify it? Ambergris floats being primarily whale vomit. We can do a test with some water from the Oasis.

Drest
Drest will remain with Kang, moving him to the hut if someone helps him.
"Can anyone help me move Kang to the hut?"

Akhilleus
"Does any of you bookworm types know anything about this rock?" He says pointing at the "stinky stone".
The warrior nods at Xenos' words. "I agree. I don't have any sacks or anything where we could carry it, though. Does any of you have some? Let's focus on the valuable parts, then the meat."

Xenos looks around at the trees
"Could we make some kind of stretcher from branches and clothes, something similar for the croc? Some of us could make a quick journey to town to get some material and a bag if we needed to?"

Re: The Oasis
Heroes Or No?
The Oasis
11:25am, Cloudy, Dry
Kang's unmoving form is carried to the open shack where his condition can be monitored in relative safety and comfort.
Cyril tries to keep the slaves away from the croc, but a few of the hungry oasis dwellers are starting to gather around the massive body despite his actions. They don't look interested in claws or teeth, only the pounds and pounds of fresh meat that is already slowly starting to rot.
Other members of the slave caste gather around the adventurers as they work, patting them on the shoulders and thanking them in the common tongue as best they can.
The pittance of copper coins is completely ignored, but the sparkly rock does raise some interest. Valkrina looks over the flecks in the stinky stone, pretty sure this isn't a golden nugget but a chunk of possibly valuable ambergris. The Esquimaux woman has seen things similar to this in her past, though the chunks of regurgitated whale puke she has seen were white in color. When she spots the remains of an octopus beak stuck into the mass, she is convinced that this is indeed something quite special. But to whom?
The slaves continue to keep their distance from the now slowly moving Tuurma, but they are friendly and even welcoming to all of the others. They do seem a little nervous about claiming the meat off the dead croc, but they don't get aggressive in trying to harvest any of it yet.
Actions?
Valkrina AC:7 16/16 FF/H
Cyril AC:8 1/5 CF/CLW
Akhilleus AC:4 32/32
Drest AC:7 16/16
Tuurma AC:3 13/13
Xenos AC:6 12/12 CT/CT
Kang AC:7 -4/8 Unconscious

Drest come back out from the hut. "Let them take the meat, we could use some allies and it will rot anyways."

"Wait, some of the internal organs might be worth something, if they've survived. We should gather them first as well as the claws and teeth and let them have what's left."

Re: The Oasis
Xenos heads over to the Croc corpse to see if he can recover any organs from the mush.

Drest
To the slaves, "Start taking meat from the tail." He points at the tail.
To the others, "I will gather the organs, do we have anything to put them in? Some of you others start working on the hide. It is massive, plenty of room for multiple people to work, I recommend an axe over a knife on that hide."
Figuring his Scout class would cover breaking down an animal.

Anyone trying to cut out organs can give me a 3d6 roll vs. Int.

Valkrina
The Ambergris, if it is that, would be worth much to specialist perfumers or even as a spell compound. We should take it into town for valuation.
She suggests the above, not interested in the croc meat. Let the slaves eat it.
What do we do about Kang? Carry him to a chapel, bring a cleric here, wait another day until he can be prayed for again?

Akhilleus will cut off the claws and head. "Something to remember..."
"We can carry Kang on my shield to a healer. Not the best solution, but the best we got."

"Many clerics would probably require payment for such a service. Whether he is worth that payment to you, I will never know. I am confident however that I can get him on his feet tomorrow. Granted there are no guarantees when it comes to channeling Azathoth's powers.
Either we let him rest here and rest alongside him or we carry him on a litter."

Xenos
"Some could stay with Kang, while the rest of us return to the city to sell the parts and bring some food back with us. We could then all return to Xambaala once Kang is up and about. The only other option I can see if if we carry the croc parts in my sack, and Kang either on a shield or maybe we can fashion a stretcher from something...blankets, cloaks or suchlike."
