Outlook email

So, anyone out there successfully use an outlook.com email address with the forums?

Outlook seems to be silently blocking emails. I've checked my junk folder and the blocked senders list and there is nothing obvious there.

I might end up switching back to my old email.

I use earthlink and haven't had any issues.

I think this might be an issue specific to outlook.com, with it blocking the email server (?) the forum uses.

I never had an issue with previous email addresses I've used.

Maybe there is some setting you can change. Microsoft did some stupid update on my PC recently and everything got slow and started doing weird stuff, I ended up having to reset all my settings and clear stuff. Microsoft is really annoying.

I'll take a look, but I've been googling and it seems that outlook has an aggressive hidden blocklist that quietly does this. It seems to be worse when an email server is used for the domains of various different customers, and then one customer gets a bad rep for spam then that ruins the reputation for all email domains on that server and they all get on the blocklist.

Sigh. I'll probably stop using it if I can't trust emails to arrive.

Some forums I get the notification emails way late, some are pretty quick. I use the same yahoo email for most of them. Weird how it does that.

I use Outlook and I can only describe its peformance as "erratic" although it does work / hasn't banned anyone (to my knowledge!)

Mail delivery has been slow here, and I'm on gmail. In some ways it's a bother, in others it doesn't matter since this is the site I look at multiple times a day (hour)...

Here's a thing though re: my last. Nearly all notifications from the Servant turn up in "Junk". Fortunately for me, since I'm luckily not overwhelmed with Spam, this helps me manage them! However, despite my (no doubt feeble) attempts to dissuade it Outlook appears to remain "prejudiced"!
