With a few grunts and curses, and perhaps a loud expulsion of gut gas, Roan manages to move the "secret" trap door off to one side, while being covered by Cassius and Fahima. Once the door is out of the way, a set of stone stairs can be seen descending into darkness. From somewhere below them, the group can hear the sounds of combat and the roaring of a great beast...Aulicus.

"Anyone want to see a dragon?" Cassius asks with a smile. "There's got to be a large area down there to fit it. Who else wants to take a peek?"

Cassius keeps his bow ready and moves to see down the stairs. He's looking for flickering lights, and keenly aware that he's silhouetted from the open temple.

"We have come this far, why not?"

"Worse case, I have the gosh darn egg. Let us go scramble."

Roan doesn't miss the egg pun "Aye yer a punny man ain't ya Zan? Hardy har har." he sticks his tongue out at Zan and chuckles. "Tis good ta have humor afore facing danger an possibly our deaths. At least we can say we kept our wits in tha end. Even if it is humorous wit." he says in earnest.
