Absence
Absence
I apologize very much, I have had some good news at work that means I probably will not be able to participate in games here very much ... or at all ... for at least a while ...
... I have been offered an equity stake in the firm I work for!

Very nice, congrats!
This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.

Re: Absence
Wow! Congratulations!
Sometimes this summer I will most likely be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

Re: Absence
Hi folks ...
... so ... I have a friend who advises people on financial stuff, and I asked them what I should review before accepting this offer.
Turns out the gift horse had bad teeth.

Re: Absence
That's a shame. But look on the positive that you got the advice and avoided a bad deal.

That's unfortunate, but at least you didn't make a decision you would have regretted.
