Yea, Taisho is going to have to play those 15 sp. Hmm, is there any rules for ronin slumming it? Ronin should regularly be traveling about looking for work without enough coin to stay at bushi levels.jemmus wrote: ↑Thu Jun 23, 2022 8:41 pm Sorry, I kept forgetting to reply to this post. Hiroshi lost On and carried his coins with him to the battle. He still has them, except for 15 sp for inns traveling from Chiyoda village to Kofu. I suppose he left his other stuff at the inn. He would have shot some arrows at the battle, but the rules down mention arrows depletion in Battles. So N/A.
Things Hiroshi certainly took to war with him and the disposition (retained, lost, unsure):
Straw hat and raincoat - he went off to war in winter so we would have worn these on the road, not worn into battle though - lost in camp
Food for travellers - I assume he took these with for the campaign. Lost in camp.
??? Geta - he certainly would have worn these on the road, but not in battle? Lost?
Pouch with coin, flint and steel - retained at a loss of On
??? Furokishi sack with bandages and healing salve - can these be carried in battle or left in camp?
Bowyer's kit - carried on campaign (this lets him repair his arrows so would justify no loss during campaign) - left in camp and lost.
Sake - carried on campaign, left in camp and lost
??? Water bottle - carried on campaign, but can this be carried into battle (for quenching thirst during lulls in the battle)?
I'm not sure what he was collecting heads in (Land of the Rising Sun has a bag for collecting heads in its equipment list...)
??? I'm guessing the 2nd furokishi is also lost. Maybe that was what he collected heads in.
The second belt pouch seems reasonable to keep as part of keeping his coin pouch.
I think that's all his equipment other than weapons and armor which he obviously carried into battle and did not lose.
