Marco Gets the hard job, with the quick help of Monte, moves the table to the other side, takes the
prybar and takes out a 6'x10' flagstone, first ones the toughest, bein 6' tall. After thats is just exposing enough to dig. A couple inches of pebbles and a spot to the right where there are only black pebbles seperated out from the mix in a area all alone.

Lt. Dyer: "Thats the right spot, about 2 of your inches of that, then dirt, about 6 if I recall.

No movement in or out of the fort.

Hiro maintains his position, looking out for anyone trying to entire the building, but signals over the radio "Breaching team. SitRep. Any casualties? Do you need anything?"

Marco continues to dig past the polls and hits it, about 4" then a hollow thunk.

Another 5 minutes will be new to class th suddouning area.

I take this to mean that a new class of scouts is expected to arrive in 5 minutes.

Hiro radios the Train to the Stars, as well as the recruits in the Armored Grav Carrier in the Train to the Stars vehicle bay: "Execute pickup. We should be ready in 5 inutes. Landing zone is within the fortress walls, adjacent to Building 5, to the opposite side from the courtyard." Hiro transmits a picture of the exact pickup point.

There has previously been at least two complete misunderstandngs of locations, I think due to confusion over which way is 'North' and 'West'. Therefore I used relative locations this time. If there is any question of where Hiro is indicating, let me know and I will create a graphic like Hiro's.

Hiro, still watching the courtyard, transmits to the entry team: "Pickup is inbound. 5 minutes. What is the situation in there?"

"Train copies," Garett replies instantly as she activates the general alert aboard ship, which sends all available crew to their duty stations. She immediately lifts the ship and points it on an initial course sixty degrees left of a direct bearing to the fort. She climbs to a thousand meters, levels off, and flies straight ahead until she's just about parallel to the fort, and then she turns sharply right and heads inbound, timing the maneuver so that she will touch down in precisely five minutes from liftoff.

After tying up the prisoners, Lorraine keeps a vigilant look out and keeps her eyes moving every direction while silently mouthing; "Come on, come on, come on", as she's never been one to enjoy standing still in a combat situation......

Clearing the ground and falling pebbles around the area proves onerous.

Marco is able to continue and clears a round wooden prank. Breaking it, there is a faint smell of rotten vinegar and looking inside is a long thin barrel. Inside you see a leather handle.

Pulling it up you see a long roundish leather piece of luggage. Heavy for its size, a little bit of movement inside and the rest of the barrel is empty.

Marco your worn out, -2 on physical skills and -1 on dexterous skills for a couple hours, if you rest.

He passes the bag to Dyvers and if necessary keeps digging otherwise puts the tools down and awaits the order to clear out.

Dyers comes close, hearing your words and smiles.

"No thats it Marco me lad. He sheaths his pistol and touches the leather.

He turns inside the room.

"Gunnar, Lorraine, get ready to move."

Turning and increasing his voice to outside. "Permission to fall back Sir? Mission acomplished."

Lorraine gives a quick, quiet "Aye" when told they'd be falling back soon, but keep her attention on ensuring nobody rushes in on them during the 'exit strategy' portion of the plan....

Gunnar Thunarssen hangs up the phone, grabs any weapons in the room, and moves to the door, ready to exit once the all clear is given.

Besides the destroyed machine pistol the only other weapon is the Poinard on the floor dropped by the unconsious attacker.

Marco, carry the package, lead everyone to the LZ and get them loaded. Gunnar, make sure our patron doesn't get lost on the 10 meter journey to the LZ. Monte and Lorraine follow Marco and cover the extraction. I am last man out. Pickup is 4 minutes out."

Just as you start hearing replies to your order.

The firing of the 1.5" Gun seems to be happening. No effect to anything nearby you.

Dyer looks and points to a rising column of smoke towards where the motar was landing earlier.

Swings the old bag over one shoulder, dumps the spade in preference to his loaded shotgun.

"We should tie them up too." he says in regard to the Fort's men. With permission he will also put a couple of rounds into the Comms units so they cannot call out and frisk the captives to disarm them of their own personal Comms.

When folk are ready, he takes point and leads the way back towards the incoming Train to the Stars.

Lt. Sir Dyer picks up his shovel and the ships pry bar.

The two men are already tied by Lorraine, the third is bleeding on the floor unconsious.

The only coms you fine are old phone and a ham radio in the close left corner.

Montereplies: Acknowledged. I'm taking over as driver for the return trip, though. I've flown these things before, if we hit trouble, it's not fair to leave a novice in the hot seat.
