Also, ratting on the crazy mad scientist guy to Imperium officials might help get you off the planet. They take a dim view of fraud, and abuse of sentient beings, especially on government property. The information you obtained from the computers is damning.
Everyone enjoys a good night's rest, the first real non-moving horizontal sleep you have had for some time. The villagers will have food ready for breakfast, when you finally wake up. Chiree's "nests" proved to actually be quite comfortable.
What do you do now?

Ringar
OCC: Following on to ybn1197's question, Ringar checks how far to the nearest city as well as the city they started from that had the spaceport, I can't seem to find it now. He'll use the nav system on the raft to conduct this.
So, what passes for breakfast around here?

Sorry! I could have sworn I posted a reply about a week ago
Jrec
"I doubt it'll be eggs", replies Jrec quietly.
"As comfortable as those nests were, I'm actually looking forward to sleeping in a bed back at that fleapit we were staying in before. So I reckon it is time to bid a fond farewell to Chiree and all these other feathery flockers and head back to the bright lights and big city".

Re: Chapter 6: Cut to the Chase...
Breakfast...
Is a combination of dried fruit and a simple flat bread. Satisfying, but on the light side, given the size difference between humans and Chirpers.
You can get to the outskirts of the main (only) city on the nearby continent in 36-48 hours, depending on weather, terrain, and flight path.
Who ever is piloting the air/raft, please roll 2d6 for the travel time. Higher is longer.

Ringar
Reinforces the provided breakfast with rations from the raft. To his comrades: Are we good to go?
OCC: Ringar has been piloting so I guess he will continue.

Jrec
Jrec avoids any of the fruit, not wanting to risk any possible gastrointestinal effects while cooped up in the air/raft. He follows Ringar's example and snacks on some bread and a ration pack.
"Anytime you're ready", he replies to Ringar.
