I also know that
http://www.padnd.com/index.php is a good resources for AD&D I believe they have both 1e and 2e materials. I have only needed to use the 2e stuff so I have not fully looked around. To add to this I did take a larger look and they have Basic, Classic and newer edition resources as well for D&D. Also a helpful spell listing for 1e

Actually, now that the official PDFs are available for sale, it is strongly recommended that people use legitimate copies of the rulebooks they actually own.
Legitimate copies of the PDFs for purchase can be found from a couple different websites, but I purchased mine from here:
DNDClassics.com.
Unless it was added recently, only the Unearthed Arcana is unavailable.
They're great, too. Fully indexed and searchable.

Before the materials were legitimately available, the moderators and site admin may have been a little lax in enforcing the following, but please note the following (emphasis mine):
