When the pair of combatants see you arrive, they stop fighting. The smaller man laughs and straightens, holding his torch high. "About time you showed up! Now, clean up this...mess...and join me after," the man says, withdrawing from the island toward the northern steps.
As he leaves, the tall brute takes a deep breath and releases it slowly, and turns to face you, bloodied greatclub in hand.
"Well...don't just stand there. Let's do this!"
Initiative Order:
Lesh (15), Ambergris (14), Mortlock (13), Tommy (8), Bhaalite (7)
Initiatives for Ambergris, Lesh, Tommy: [1d20]=14 [1d20]=15 [1d20]=8
Initiatives for Bhaal & Mortlock: [1d20]=7 [1d20]=13
(Since no one rolled initiative, I went ahead and rolled them just using a d20, no bonuses, because I'd have to look them up. A good routine before posting actions is always roll initiative first.)

Lesh:
...charges forward with middle finger raised and in a furious roar "gra-gra-gra guiadia rayous"" and unleashes a blasting bolt on the servant of Bhaal! (15 damage) The force of the guiding bolt flings the man backwards to land at the bottom of the steps! He growls and curses and gets up.

Ambergris:
"Forward men, for your redemption" he sends the trio of skeletons against the Bhaal figure.
As one, the skeletons advance and encircle the man, hacking and stabbing at him, leaving a bloody gash in his stomach.
Skeletons attack: [1d20]=18 [1d20]=8 [1d20]=10

Mortlock:
The hulking brute is amazed at the attack upon the Bhaalite...and says as much. "You've come to help...me? My mother didn't send you?"
He doesn't drop his club, but he doesn't attack either.

Tommy:
his eyes lock on the faceless ball figure and he curses (casts Hex as a bonus action)
Dude, this makes no sense; I have no idea who you are attacking. A little help?

Death's Head of Bhaal:
Swiftly, the man hacks at the foremost skeleton, smashing its skull with two vicious dagger thrusts.
Death's Head of Bhaal: [1d20+7]=7+7=14 [1d20+7]=19+7=26
Dagger damage: [1d4+5]=3+5=8 [1d4+5]=1+5=6
He then turns his gaze upon Lesh...and the lizard man feels a blow to the front of his mind, threatening to stun him!
Stunning Gaze attack > roll Wisdom save DC 14.
Winter is coming...

OOC: sorry for the confusion, the initial attacks are focused on the follower of Bhaal, i thought we had a surprise round or something, if possible i'll cast hex as a bonus action and eldritch blast as a standard action to the Death's Head of Bhaal, otherwise will just cast the bonus hex

Tommy tries to recover from the surprise and casts an attach to the head of Bhaal
Blast+Hex = to hit:[1d20+7]=8+7=15 ; damage:[1d15+5]=13+5=18

and yells to Mordock
You better move that stick and hit this damned skullface

if Mordock tries to escape Tommy will direct the eldritch blasts at him

As Lesh charges forward he seems bigger somehow with his spines raised, nostrils flared, jaws gaping, and tail twitching. Even his scales seem a deeper color but the clicking sounds he makes are deeper in tone and seem to promise death. He unleashes another Guiding Bolt at the servant of Bhaal, closes the distance between them, and takes a bite intending to tear the man to pieces.

Guiding Bolt 2nd Level: [1d20+5]=12+5=17, damage: [5d6]=18
Bite: [1d20+4]=11+4=15, damage: [1d6+2]=1+2=3

Casts:

This time the man screams in pain and perhaps there is fear in his eyes for the first time in a very long time! Lesh tastes man flesh and the thrill sends him into a frenzy!

Ambergris sends a purple bolt of witchery lightning at the man, but it narrowly misses his head, blowing a chunk out of the wall behind him! The two remaining skeletons jab and stab at the man, but are unable to hit him, jostled by Lesh.

Having hexed the man previously (I gave you that last round; thanks for clearing that up), Tommy blasts the man with eldritch magic, eliciting another scream of pain and a string of curses that would scorch the hair off Lesh's head...if he had any hair. And still the man stands! It's as if he is just shrugging off the damage!
Ignoring the skeletons, the Death's Head of Bhaal jabs and stabs at Lesh, managing to drive one of his daggers deep into the shaman's upper chest! Death's Head of Bhaal: [1d20+7]=2+7=9 [1d20+7]=15+7=22
Dagger damage: [1d4+5]=4+5=9
He then fixes Tommy with his unnerving gaze! (Save DC14 Wisdom)

Mortlock takes a couple of steps toward the melee, but holds up, knowing he can't get in too close for fear of hitting his rescuers.

Ambergris

Doesn't trust that Mortlock needs rescuing at all. Still one foe at a time, he tries to strike and entangle the man of Bhaal. A throw of a summoned net and a stab of his boarding spear, a powerful blow that scrapes the stone.

Ambergris cast his pact weapon: Entangling Net [1d20+4]=11+4=15 spear thrust [1d20+3]=6+3=9 [1d6+3]=6+3=9

Initiative Order:
Lesh (15), Ambergris (14), Mortlock (13), Tommy (8), Bhaalite (7)

Lesh staggers back, spurting blood from the deep chest wound. He swirls his finger in the air and then points it at the Death's Head of Bhaal...and a glowing radiance descends upon the man, who has nowhere to go, hemmed in on all sides.
Radiant damage: [1d8]=5

As the Bhaalite howls in fury and pain, Ambergris hurls his net on the man, entangling him in its barbs! The skeletons move in jabbing and stabbing, but can't seem to hurt him at this time.

Mortlock steps off the island and into the murky water, hefting his club. With a guttural roar, he attacks the man of Bhaal with his club!

The man roars and fixes Mortlock with his gaze...

Lesh is in close and tries grab the Death's Head by the head. He is beyond words just growling and clicking as he casts Inflict Wounds.

Inflict Wounds: [1d20+5]=9+5=14, damage: [3d10]=21

Wisdom save in case I need it.

Ambergris

Continues his assault. I will have to check. I rolled two spear attacks as I think I get advantage vs one entangled

Ambergris cast his pact weapon: Entangling Net [1d20+4]=13+4=17 spear thrust [1d20+3]=9+3=12 [1d6+3]=1+3=4Ambergris to hit melee spear [1d20+3]=10+3=13 damage [1d6+3]=6+3=9

He is not convinced regarding Mortlock. The man has an evil look about him and I think he needs to be captured or slain also.

Initiative Order:
Lesh (15), Ambergris (14), Mortlock (13), Tommy (8), Bhaalite (7)

Mortlock staggers back and sits down hard in the murky water.

Paying him no mind, Lesh grabs the Death's Head of Bhaal by the face, clicking and growling in barely controlled anger. The man howls in agony as divine pain wracks his body!
Entangled in Ambergris' net, and grasped by Lesh, the man is unable to avoid the sea captain's spear thrusts as they seek to find his heart! And the two skeletons likewise tear at the man with their broken swords.

Blood spurts from the man's mouth and he slumps into the murky water, still as a stone. Tommy finally gets his wits together, but sees there is no reason to waste a spell on a dead man.
Aurayauna stands behind the tabaxi, her eyes locked on the stunned brute sitting in the water. "What about...Mortlock?"

lets tie him up and we'll figure it out,

Tommy takes advantage of Morlock being paralyzed and disarms him and a casts Sleep spell on him for good measure

sleep spell
Sleep
1 enchantment
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: 90 feet
Target: Creatures within 20 feet of a point you choose within range (in ascending order of their current hit points, ignoring unconscious creatures)
Components: V S M (A pinch of fine sand, rose petals, or a cricket)
Duration: 1 minute
Classes: Bard, Sorcerer, Wizard
This spell sends creatures into a magical slumber. Roll 5d8; the total is how many hit points of creatures this spell can affect. Creatures within 20 feet of a point you choose within range are affected in ascending order of their current hit points (ignoring unconscious creatures). Starting with the creature that has the lowest current hit points, each creature affected by this spell falls unconscious until the spell ends, the sleeper takes damage, or someone uses an action to shake or slap the sleeper awake. Subtract each creature’s hit points from the total before moving on to the creature with the next lowest hit points. A creature’s hit points must be equal to or less than the remaining total for that creature to be affected. Undead and creatures immune to being charmed aren’t affected by this spell.
At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, roll an additional 2d8 for each slot level above 1st.
Stitches:- 1st lvl Halfling-Rogue: basics HP:9, AC:14, init.:+3, Sw/Bow: +5 to hit/1d6+3 dam +Sneak attack!

Ambergris

Tells the two remaining skeletons to carry the bound Mortlock between them. We should do a quick search of the area then retreat, back through the Nymph.

What do we do with Mortlock? Do we trust the authorities in Baldur's Gate. What about the chief priests at the church? Take him there?
